I am amazed by this band!
Why am I amazed by this band?
Well, they have had, what, three singers? And they all sound remarkably simular and they all sing in the same unique way that fits LA.
How is that?

I first listened to this one about a month ago and was a bit turned off from the start, and didn't give it another listen for along time.
About a week ago i pulled it out again and have been lovin this one ever since. The first track is the really turn off... a really cheesy cliche rock song, but after that it rocks all the way thru.
Definitely a Pretty Boy Floyd sound throughout, although maybe a little more melodic or hair metal oreintated than PBF.
I think this will really appeal to glam fans out there that dislike the punk influecne in a lot of todays glam, as this is more along the hair-metal-glam lines.
And to think they have another 2-3 discs out there that i need to track down now....
I really like it.
Whenever one of their tracks comes on randomly on my ipod my ears prick up.
The sound is a throwback and thats why I like it!

Yeah, it's a sad day when I just don't care about new Lillian Axe releases anymore. I'll try to check out the new tunes, but to be honest I have no hope for them.

No. Prince was good. Especially when Wendy and Lisa were in the band.
The solo in Let's Go Crazy is intense!
And his Purple Rain film is as good rock n roll movie as you're gonna get!

Why do they feel the need to go over old ground with songs like 'The day I met you' and 'Nobody Knows'?
But I'm always amazed how the current singer sounds soooo much like original singer Ron.

I stumbled upon them at Donington 2009. Just needed a tent to escape the sun and they were kicking ass in there!!
Check out the video which looks like it had a tasty budget!

This is a band that arw not afraid to put two (power) ballads back to back on their album.
I think it's produced by Dennis Ward who is a top producer.

The album is very good quality. Reminds me of Tuff with touches of Flesh and Blood era Poison.

Love the Rock Sugar album!
I dismissed it as a 'busy' album initially, I thought there was too much going on within each track.
But after several spins I'm loving it and can appreciate the songs. They are a hard working band and their cd is my favourite this year!!

I'm amazed how Y&T and Budgie sound pretty simular. What do you think...

Both me and my friend agree there us something lacking with this disc.
For me the songs are there but the production is flat. Almost like the digital process has killed the energy produced by Y&T, who are a killer live band.

These guys evoke memories of the good days when bands would form and record good solid rock albums. They have just released an album.
