Second Heat - S/T
Pretty good Melodic Hard Rock on display on this cd. On first listen, i feel that the first half is way better than the second half. The first 5 songs are really good, but the album seems to trail off in the second half. Overall, there is some intense guitar playing, and some interesting drum arrangements. I'm sure that after a few more listens, i'll be liking it even more. Favourite track so far is "Naked Flame".

Pretty Maids - Anything Worth Doing, Is Worth Overdoing
Roxx - Outlaws, Fools & Thieves
Second Heat - S/T
-
Bad Moon Rising - S/T
-
Bonfire - Fireworks
-
Blue Tears - Dancin' On The Backstreets
Too much filler...i could do without a few tracks...

Pretty Maids - Anythin Worth Doing....
Roxus - Nightstreet
-
King Kobra - Ready To Strike
-
Marchello - Destiny
Picasso Trigger - Abstract Addiction (twice!!)
Dokken - Back For The Attack
-
Big Guns - On Dangerous Ground
There are 3 gems on this one ("Living It Up", "Let's Get Crazy" & "City Lights") amidst some good hard rock. Man, this band had potential...

I believe no one's mentioned this one --->
Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns N' Roses
Suprising!!
-
Dance LITTLE Sister - Kane Roberts
-
Vice - Second Excess
Excellent hard rock.
-
Paradise - Do Or Die
I'm really enjoying this...reminds me of Bon Jovi in places.
-
Trixter - Hear!
Glory - Danger In This Game
Brass Kitten - Across America ("Can't Hold Back The Young"...what a song!! )
-
Like both albums...the harder edge of 'Hear!' gets my vote, though.
From the debut, my favourite would be 'Heart Of Steel'
From 'Hear!', my fav is 'Rocking Horse'...."playin' safe ain't gonna get you what you need..."
Also like 'Runaway Train' a lot...

Wouldn't have pegged ya for an ARP fan, but then I thought Dr. F was mainly into sleaze/glam...
I think I have Alzheimers or something lately....
I'm listenin' to Shy Tiger - Feed The Kitty and am on the track "Hearts On Fire"...this song is a COMPLETE rip-off of Bon Jovi's "Burning For Love", right down to the guitar riff and the drums during the chorus!!! Anyone else noticed that??

Candyman - Zinatra
-
EZ Livin' - After The Fire (awesome!! the only filler is the song "EZ Livin'", IMO...the rest is great)
Fahrenheit - Chain Reaction (stellar album, reminds me of Skid Row's S/T at times)
American Angel - EP '92 ("If Love Is So Blind" is one of my favourite songs of all time...)
-
Hurricane - Slave To The Thrill
L.A. Guns - Tales From The Trip
Europe - Wings Of Tomorrow
-
Tower City - A Little Bit Of Fire
Vice - Second Excess
-
Bai Bang - Ridin' High (can't get enough of the title track!)
Beggars & Thieves - S/T (just class all the way through!)
Mad Margritt - Straight Through The Heart (I think "In The Name Of Rock" might just have the worst chorus ever recorded...just can't stand it...a 4 year old could have written a better chorus, IMO...a shame, 'cause i kinda like the verses...elsewhere, this is a good disc)

Was spinnin' Friction - Baby Talk this afternoon...hadn't thought too much of the album when i'd first heard it a few months back...didn't bother to play it again...decided to give it a spin today and realised that it's a great album!!! "Down and Lonely", "Baby Talk" and "Bed Of Roses" are highlights, and the rest is very enjoyable too...was pleasantly surprised!!
