Oxido - Breaking Down The Walls
Awesome !!
Yes, it indeed is. And it's surprising that I like it so much as it's a little removed from what I usually listen to, but there's not a bad track on the album. Especially love the song "Baby This Night".

Sorry to hear about it, Sir Ian. Hope everything works out alright for you and your son. On a brighter note, this only means that you'll have more time to spend with the music that you so dearly love, rather than wasting time on someone who might not have really deserved it...and atleast the music will never turn it's back on you. All the best.

Well I know it's REALLY late now, but I've been off the Forums for a few days, so Belated Birthday Wishes, Geoff!!
Besides, my Dad was also born on the 9th of May, so I couldn't NOT wish you!! Cheers!!

I thought I heard you in the rain
The other night when I was away (Ok, fine that's cool)
Through the window and in the dark
Just you and me...in the park (and then I hit the FF button)
Anyone here who was a fan of the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. series would agree that even Phoebe came up with better lyrics than that.

We'll expect a full book report
Will try to make sure that the report doesn't have any grammatical mistakes. Can't promise anything about the spelling, though.

Well the guitar riff on "A R 'n' R Girl Like You" by Wig Wam is identical to the riff on "My Sharona" by The Knack...

Good on you, Captain!! Bret was my favourite wrestler back when I was in school. Heck, he was everybody's favourite wrestler at school back then!!

Just started the new Lee Child novel 'Gone Tomorrow'
Have seen a few Lee Child novels at my local library. Any recommendations for someone wanting to start reading his novels? I'm into Forsyth, Ken Follet, Archer, Desmond Bagley etc. so I'm guessing Lee Child should be right up my alley...
You do need to start with his first novel (forget the name) as he has the character of Jack Reacher in each one.
I haven't read any bad ones and I've read several of them. Reacher's a great character IMO.
Child's a great writer, I believe the first Jack Reacher book is "Killing Floor"
Thanks, guys!! I think I've seen "Killing Floor" at the library, will track it down.
