I thought this was going to be the disc of the year when I heard the single We run but after hearing the whole cd a couple of times I think it's just average. There are one and two more songs on the album but this type of music have been made so much better many times before.
Yes, Chandler is singing way better than on the Talon album.
Finally, Firewind's last couple of releases thrashes Outland's debut.

I was blown away, it's going to be simply a cracker. I was one of 25000 at Sweden Rock in 2004 and that was that gig was the highlight of the festival!!!
-
I think it is a little patchy. Some really great stuff but a number of fillers along the way as well.
I have had a couple of this disc but have traded or sold all over the years. I only have the Take me back single left. That is the crown jewel of the disc.

Well, cuddle my balls with a welding iron. I haven't been the biggest fan of this, but what the f*ck is wrong with people? Too modern? Not deserving of HH? What a f*cking pathetic joke.
As I've said in other threads, imo the songs are just not that great. The could be, but hooks and good choruses seem to have been purposely avoided. I also don't think it really sounds like a Hardline CD... but all this other bullshit is just nonsense. I haven't seen the comments yet, but I hope it's not that Erik fella flying this flag as I like that chap.
Backed 100 %. I don't think is modern at all. In fact I think it's less modern than their second album.
I think the album is fairly rubbish and is not as good as II, which I think is fairly good. It is especially the production and mix that is lacking and their alot of slow songs. I think they should have changed their name for this release, it's really Hardline anymore.

I watched them at Sweden Rock the other week. Fantastic gig with a great song selection and Norum was better than I've seen him in a long time.
-
I've ordered from him several times. Great seller IMO.

I can't wait to leave today. It kicking off today with Heat and Tyketto.
I'm really waiting to see In flames.
It's going to be a ssoooo good weekend!!!!

High Noon, Charlemagne and Farcry. I can't to recive these great releases.

Yes, those cd:s were great. You always found some new great bands to buy since it was harder to find then. Internet was obviously very small back then and you could not just login into sites like Heavy Harmonies and Melodic Rock and find new great bands.

I went through some of my hardrock magazines today. I found some really nice stuff;
A news letter from Aor heaven in magazine format from 99. There were not many online stores with new great hardrock and AOR at this time. Georg's site was one of the best in my opinion and he was really great to deal with (and still is). It was not an easy ordering form at this time. I only emailed Georg which cd:s I wanted and he debit my credit card and sent me the cd:s with the credit card reciept included. I had sent the card number in two seperate mails earlier.
I also found some Hard Roxx magazines from the nineties. Some really nice articles and reviews.
I get really sentimental when i remember those days when ordering cd:s over the net was a new thing. You could not believe that this would be so huge with Ebay and Gemm etc.
Do you have some good or bad memories of the really early days of ordering cd:s over the net.

Its like Linkin Park, which is not a good thing to sound like!
Utterly rubbish IMO. But comparing this song to Linkin Park is like comparing Brasilian and San Marino football teams.
I might be slaughtered now but I really like Linkin Park. The two first albums is great IMO.
I agree, I like Linkin Park, but this is someone completely out of their element.
Definitaly, the rap (which I'm no expert of ) is absolute rubbish. It sounds very unproffesional. I wonder under which stone he found that lad.
Does anyone knows who the guitarist is?

It's really sad that they are bad. The have the Pleezer album (Retrospect, Sam is sold out) which I have been after. Does anyone knows any other place that got this cd?

I had couple of their albums, but as far as I remember they were horrible...
Not my cup of tea really, I'm with you mate they were kind of horrible

The Poodles: Sweet trade
CrashDiet: The unattractive revolution

I found a cd that I want from the Impulse Music web store. Has anybody bought from them before.
Is it a good store to buy from. Are they a trustworthy store?

Listen to this new track from a new Swedish band which is just great and catchy (little modern though, but still very enjoyable). Maybe a little to long but well worth listen to:
-
I think it's second rate german melodic hardrock that I have heard much better a hundred times before. The singer is fairly rubbish as well. I back you 100 % in opinion on this cd Geoff.

I hope for:
Washington
Boston
Vancouver
Detroit
in the semis. There are some great swedish players in these teams. Especially in Vancouver and Detroit.
It would be good if Sundin would finally win Stanley Cup. Then he really did the comeback in the right team.
-
Utterly great new Swedish act, you must listen to this.
Great piece of music IMO.
-
I think the new album is great. Havn't heard alot of the last Paramount album but this album rocks. The lyrics is also strong IMO.
-
Debut is good, not so much into the follow-up. And don't forget Arabia's '1001 night's either - more in line with the debut.
Many of the great songs of the debut was actually re-recorded for the Arabia album. I think the two bands had almost the same members as well.

This video is just hillarious. I havn't seen this type of video since the eighties. I thas everything we love about rock'n'roll, women whiskey and song
Take a look and cry of happiness!!!

My highlight was In Flames whio did a great performance as usual. Europe did a great gig as well. It was also good to see that Tony Moore from Riot sang his socks off and hit the high notes of Thundersteel. Looking already forward to next year, I can't wait.
