That's a nice song. Nothing special but Overland sounds as always.
-
I dig the song. It's good but definitely not top-shelf Find Me. But Robbie's singing is so good, it doesn't matter.

From the Perfect Plan Facebook page:
QuoteHi folks! A little update from the PP camp…happy to announce that the writing of album III is FINISHED! The recording process starts in a couple of weeks and we are so excited to share the awesome songs we have done with u guys during 2022!
Am a huge fan of their first two albums so this is definitely great news!

I don't feel quite as strongly as the rest of you. This is inoffensive pablum, a throwaway song that doesn't change my interest in the upcoming album. But, yeah, definitely not a Christmas classic.

That's a quality track. I'm sold.

Both songs are at least pretty good and I'm interested to hear more. Production sounds good, too.
-
I like the song, good stuff. The breakdown/solo are definitely the highlight.

Pretty remarkable to see how much Atkins is working given his health. Very impressive.

Top 3 release of 2021, I'm calling it now. It's hilarious how much better the actual bands signed with Frontiers are than their hodgepodge studio projects...though Degreed has been first class for a long time now.
It's coming out in February 2022 so your prediction might be a bit off

I'm digging this song. Good stuff. Background vocals don't bother me at all here.

There is 2 pages discussing this band on Heavy Metal section
Yeah, my apologies for not checking there first. Figured H.E.A.T fans that frequent this section would be interested.

Bud, haven't you already checked it all out? You commented all over the original thread.
Volume 2. I'll check out volume 2. I loved volume 1.

The tracklist for vol 2 sounds promising. I'll definitely check it out.
-
I think I like that better than the original. I thought the original had a much harder sound - I just went and listened and, yeah, my memory was way off. Way softer and more keyboard-y than I remembered.
-
I love this album. I asked Jason Bonham after a Foreigner concert why there was no third Bonham album. "Drugs are a terrible thing, man" was his answer.

"Dearly Beloved" is definitely a return to form for Daughtry or, at least, close to it. He actually remembered to bring guitars to the studio with this one. No, it's not the level of the first three albums but it's a LOT better than the last two. If you're a fan, pick it up.

I don't hate the song, it's alright but...
I'm actually from Pontiac, MI, the town the song is about. And, well, Pontiac doesn't look anything like that. There's no cornfields in Pontiac. I mean, it's one thing to not film in Pontiac. It's a whole 'nother thing to not even get close to the place you're singing about.

I think I've mentioned my distain for "Poison" several times, so I have to add "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" to this thread.
Nothing anybody mentions in this thread will be worse than this atrocity. I even felt a bit nauseous typing the title.
Thanks man. Because of this post, now I'm nauseous, too. What a horrible song.

Hated this one at the time but it has grown on me.

Man I hope they redeem themselves with this one.
I wasn't too happy with the last album.
If you could throw in the sound from Coup De Grace and the quality of songs from Ghost Of Graceland, I'll be happy.
I think they can do it!
Redeem themselves? Tunguska was fantastic. If we get something like Tunguska or Ghost of Graceland, I will be one extremely happy listener.

Ho hum, just another quality track from NFO.
Giant - Shifting Time

Have given this one a few spins now and I'm liking it a lot. I've never listened to Giant before so I have no idea if it "sounds like Giant" or not. Probably not as it sounds like it could be a Kent Hilli solo album or even a Perfect Plan album. That's definitely not a bad thing. Heck, I like this more than Kent's solo album, which I loved.
This is quality rock music fronted by Kent Hilli's golden voice. Pick it up.
