  1. This looks pretty suite so I thought I'd share it here. Looks like the man that made the movie is doing one of those looking for monies to get the movie out in theatres and eventually onto DVD. Have a look! METALROCK Films takes you on a transcendental journey into heavy metal’s yesteryear in this compelling two part opus INSIDE METAL: The Pioneers of L.A. Rock and Metal, the first of a trilogy documenting the Los Angeles Metal Scene. From the mid to late ‘70s, guitar-driven rock bands such as Metallica, Dokken, Quiet Riot, Van Halen, Great White, Armored Saint, W.A.S.P., Testament, Megadeth and others, ruled the Los Angeles and Orange County nightclubs like The Starwood, The Whisky, Gazzarri’s, The Golden Bear, Goldenwest Ballroom, and backyard parties throughout the Southland! Check it out here. INSIDE METAL delivers quintessential candid interviews with metal icons and the pivotal players in the music business including musicians, managers, concert promoters and the utmost devoted practitioners. INSIDE METAL is about giving fans the real inside story from the behind the scenes world of metal and hard rock with in-depth interviews, ultra-rare concert footage and photographs, and an original music score from that era; in this no-holds-barred, never before seen, recollection of untold stories. The documentary is getting rave reviews from viewers and artists in the industry. Blasko, the bassist for Ozzy Osbourne stated he “…didn’t know much about this era of the rock scene in LA as I was too young to experience it. Inside Metal was a fun and informative look into the foundation of the LA Metal scene.” Madonna’s guitarist Monte Pittman said the documentary was “…like a college course in music history.” Get your tickets to the movie in your local theater at: www.MetalRockFilms.com. And…it’s not too late to be a part of the L.A. Metal Rock History. Become an Inside® Metal VIP at: http://bit.ly/ExclusivesFromInsideMetal (note: URL is case sensitive)

  4. Well here is another sleazy hard rock band I couldn't find referenced herein... Tasty tune imho... https://www.facebook.com/speedstroke
  5. So I did not see any word of this sleazy TPOH like band from Melbourne mentioned here yet. This tune is a real dinger and as mentioned the female harmonies remind of TPOH a bunch, obviously a bit more greasy but still. Enjoy! https://www.facebook.com/themercykills
  6. Too bad, but one could assume by his "presence" that he is/could be rather self important... or at least believe his own hype. Dave, you mentioned Lil Caesar and I looked 'em up again and it looks like they are still kicking around...
  7. Eclectic little mix of discs acquired yesterday. King David-Against All Odds Asteria-Slip Into Something More Comfortable El Caco-The Search The Indikations-In Terms Of...
  8. The new Godzilla. It was good, but I guess my expectations are/were to high. Spoiler: I wish they would have taken more initiative and time developing the conspiracy theory element with Cranston's character, instead of killing him off in the first act. I would have like to have seen him be the "hero" and not have it have been so military based for the protagonist, but more philosophical and intellectually driven. Again it was a good effort, but the potential for GREATNESS was missed. IMHO.
  9. What about Junkyard? https://www.facebook.com/junkyardhollywood/info?ref=page_internal Show clip from earlier this year and they still sound about the same! Excellent!
  10. Station are awesome, but not very vintage, I mean, they are newbies... Dave, what say to LA Guns? They can still pull in a crowd and are together in 2 forms. What about Black Tora? They could pull in a crowd and are amazing. Might be a bit too metal though... Teaze still play around don't they? You know the band that became Roughhouse. Love/Hate? Dangerous Toys? Jetboy?
  11. What is/are DGeneration up to anyway? Man I dug that band. What about Buckcherry? They just dropped a F@!k related EP? The D'Molls perhaps? They from the States? Spread Eagle? Get with Mike Hannon, American Dog, certainly time for a Salty Dog reunion. Saigon Kick is supposed to be doing something. Those examples might not be sleazy enough...

  16. Shame these kids are no more... They are/were great and would have been a perfect band for you Dave!
  17. San Diego band Chamber Sixx, featuring members from the now defunct Slut Machine. https://www.facebook.com/ChamberSixx
  18. The Need For Speed-Fair, kept waiting for Vin Diesel to appear... Haywire- Or aka dumb. So bad, but full of such good actors. I don't get it. Turbo- NO2 powered snail racing in NASCAR. Kid powered awesomeness.
  19. How much did you drop Keith? I see the Executive Producer level is still available, so I'm guessing not that one for the Super Fan? I think the $35 level is the best, but the shipping costs are a big ouchy...
