In February I had him suspended for not paying his bill. He has created numerous ebay user names in an effort to keep trying to nab the cd's. I catch him out every time , block him and he begs to allow him to bid.

 

YOU ARE A FRAUD DAVID AND YOU NEED TO GROW UP. MOMMY'S MONEY (the person financing SunCity) CAN ONLY LAST SO LONG.

At least 3 user names, in the past few years. Leaving me high and dry twice with cd's he won and never paid for because he got NARUed. When it comes to shaky and unstable bidders, you hit this one on the nail, Sam.

Of the last 20 cd's I bought off the net, I bet 17-18 were because of the samples, the others were because they were a band I already loved. Soundbites are great, especially with vocals, nothing is worse than hearing 20 seconds of an intro and no vocals. I'll ignore the 1 person who wanted to be an ass and burns the cd's, and say it is a done deal with your poll, soundbites are the way to go.

I'm going to guess FALL! I gave a listen to clips on NEH, and he seems to have pulled out all his late 60's Beatles and hopped on the Yellow Submarine all the way to Abbey Road. 4 of the samples tracks were him singing/humming/moaning a bunch of la!,la!,la!,la! I bet Rolling Stones and other Beatles/Oasis loving magazines are going to love it.

Great producer, great songwriter and a great vocalist, but The Rise & Fall Of Butch Walker will unlikly be in my cd rack, next to the Marvelous 3 cd's.

I guess it can't be as bad as the Supernova release he is going to produce in the near future, another Tommy Lee side project that will go straight to the delete bin.

Both sides have to stop antagonising each other, this thread was purely created to get people arguing. I have nothing good to say about Retrospect and Vegascds and that won't change, but I can keep my mouth shut and my thoughts to myself. But these personal attacks and threats just keep growing and growing. It is becoming a competition of who can out smart and or scare the other. This is very childish from all of us. Let's move on.

Chocularok, I'm curious, did the sound quality deteriorate after burning form Cd-R to CD-R? Or was it just crappy to begin with?

2 seperate entities, not really, Retrospect Record cd's are for the most part only for sale in 2 places, on the RR website and at Vegascds.

This guy paid with paypal according to his feedback. Is paypal dumb enough to let Arwine still have an account? I'd have to say yes.

My favorite from 1995 wasn't on the list: Saigon Kick - Devil In The Details, so I went with DT - A Change of Seasons, the track alone would have made a better release than with the live stuff added on. Still one of my most loved DT tracks ever.

It looks to me like 285 sellers got spared and that the items were delivered instantly. 3 of the biggest and most respected Ebay sellers saying the same thing about impatience and chargebacks. Change your ways or expect to get blocked by many of the big sellers who are frequent users of the HH message board. Paypal should also change their ways and not accept chargeback claims within only of a few weeks of the completion of any transaction, simply ridiculous.

Great music, but the lyrics are way too juvenile on Screw It!, even the album title was bad. Slipped Her The Big One, Get Your Shit Together, Everybody Wants Some (Your Mom and Dad do it, LAME!!!) Horny S.O.B., Yeah You want It. Were they trying to attract a younger immature pre-teen audience. Too bad because Don't Blame It on Love, Crazy Nights, Beat The Bullet and the ballads deserved better supporting tracks. Too much filler for such a great band.
