but for $120 everyone in your household gets their own account and you can listen to anything that's released.
I prob listen to at least 150 new albums each year.
I’m on board with Lenny!
Spotify has about 90% of my CD collection and much easier on the wallet to be able to find and enjoy new music. I honestly don’t miss CDs...unless a certain title can’t be found on Spotify. -

I haven't heard it yet but I know it's album of the year.
I remember thinking the same with Dream Theatre’s The Astonishing.....ended up being one of the worst album I ever bought.

You’re like that guy who says gay dwarf barnyard porn is repulsive yet you keep watching it over and over again.....the more you respond in this thread, the more I believe you actually love NFO.
Admit it you love gay dwarf barnyard porn and NFO....you realize that you responded more to this thread than pretty much anyone else.
Time to come out of your NFO closet

Temple Balls....really? That was the winning name.
Temple Dome
Temple Spheres
Temple Moons
all sound just a bit better.

Holy Journey!

Without hearing it.... I can’t help but think Def Leppard with a name like Silent Tiger.
-
After a few spins I’m thinking it’s a blend of The Defiants and Dark Horse without Paul Laine singing.

Super late to the party...but ran across this one on Spotify. Love it!

Looking at my list 10 years later not much would change. My biggest WTF I can’t believe I forgot was Van Halen - When It’s Love.
Here is a top 10songs that I could add to the list that have come out since I first posted
Poets Of The Fall - Dancing On Broken Glass
Bad City - Call Paul Stanley
Electric Boys - You Spark My Heart
The Magnificent- Memories
Crashdiet - Chemical
Palace - Part Of Me
Degreed - Shakedown
Lovex - Crash My World
Circus Maximus - Remember
Toque - Never Enough For You

Cool song with a more metal feel...but 6 1/2 minutes is too long. It reminds me of something that would have been on Dream Theatre’s Awake album. 🤷♂️
I’m worried like many other bands such as Dynasty and Art Nation that One Desire might drop the AOR vibe and go full melodic metal.

Dokken and Motley Crue
A handful of decent tunes but nothing that blew me away.
-
Princess Bride
Shawshank Redemption
Back To The Future
Forrest Gump
Toy Story series
original Star Wars trilogy
Indiana Jones (first and third movie)

Paradise Lost went from harsh doom in the late 80’s early 90’s....to Metallica styled metal in the early to mid 90’s.....to Depeche Mode goth in the late 90’s to early 00’s....to industrial styled goth in the early mid 00’s....to melodic goth metal the late 00’s and early 10’s....and since the mid 10’s to today they went back to harsh doom from the beginning.

Savatage for me as well....except with Zak Stevens.
I named my son Zachary after him....so yeah, I was a big fan.

If it sounds like Saigon Kick....I’m in!

1 . Change the World - solid opener, but doesn't do much for me. Simple and repetitive.
2 . Aftershock - better than the opener but doesn't stack up too well to repeated spins.
3 . Searching for Meaning - kind of like the opener. A little annoying in it's simplicity and repetitiveness. But okay.
4 . The Death of Me - Song four and the album commences. HS as I know them best - good, catchy stuff.
5 . Mother of Invention - Great ballad and a nice pair of gems.
6 . No Man's Land - and ouch. Filler territory arrives. I can do without this track and the name is fitting.
7 . In the Unknown - another cool tune - I like this.
8 . Riot in My Head - basic, simple and just not really into it. Second filler for me.
9 . No Me Without You - simple is the order of the day but this is a good one. I dig this tune.
10 . Fire & Gasoline - sadly, for me a couple of fillers close out the album. Still not a bad tune, but not great at all.
11 . Swallowed by the Machine - weak closer that I can't get into.Overall, it's decent but not my favourite HS album or close to it. A couple of great tunes, but a few that are just making up numbers too. I always enjoy HS and this is no exception but I'm not floored by this album.
Pretty much track by track my opinion. It’s a forgettable release....many better have already been released this year.

Hey, don't mock my francophone friend. English is hard. ;}
I have a BA in English Litt...blame my phone for autocorrecting it wrong. But my opinion still hasn’t changed....”United” was miles better.

So what was the best track?
The closer? It’s good but too darn long and a bit all over the place

I would have been disappointed that "Domino" and "Barcelona" were left off.
Both are fantastic songs....Barcelona was THE track from the last release.

I can imagine many loving this release. Much more melodic than their previous releases.
-
The set list is fantastic but they could do 3 or 4 different set lists and I would love them all.
I don’t want to take a Night Flight from London to Paris....the set list would only be 5-6 songs....I want a Night Flight from New York to Sydney where the set list would be 50-60 songs.
