Really? You surprise me, cob. Sounds fucking awesome to me, to be honest. Love it.

That was my first spin impression. I'll give it a few more goes for sure because I loved the debut and some of the Devils Run stuff.

That's what I was trying to figure out with the drummer. His face is always obscured but is it him too, even though both share the screen at several moments? It's actually a really awkward clip because of this.

Agreed. I kept trying to get a face shot of each member but they are all onscured or it's Archie. I think it's all Archie and obviously very awkward.

In the same style as this album? After hungrily seeking extra (now released) tracks by Babe Blu and Kidd Blue, even though some of them are okay, it's always pretty clear why they were not pushed for release. Always seems to be very stripped back versions of the bands as they were on their killer albums.

I feel like this has been discussed before and is there a chance that further tracks from this band were actually more grungy?

    The band never went grungy.

The five are from the same recording sessions in 1992/1993.

Yeah, defo stand by my enthusiasm for this one, all the way. Not sure if it's still in my top 10 of all time, but it could be? Who knows? It's an awesome disc. Of course a big budget production behind it wouldn't have gone astray, but for an indie in 1994 it sounds just fine. Absolutely love this disc and must have spun it until it had grooves in the CD.

Supposed to be 5 more songs that never gotten properly recorded. I have been talking to the guys on FB and trying to get them to get something going again!

  6. On the main site, our music aficionado Geoff-adillo named this 1 of his Top 10 all-time! LOL

Damn, wish I'd gotten in before Dean arrived because now it appears as though I'm saying it for his sake, but this is actually honestly one of my top 10 fave releases of all time. Not even a HINT of a filler, sensational vocals and perfectly written (and yes, maybe simple-but who cares!) melodic/commercial hard rock songs. 'Southside' and the sensational 'Night by night' are two of my faves, and the ballad 'Don't let me go' is simply mind blowing. HUGELY recommended CD.Any chance of another Dean?
  7. By 1994, the local scene in Baltimore was grungy alternative garbage. Almost every cool rock club had closed up and even popular 80's bands decided to go the grunge route failing miserably. When out of the darkness, came this shining light named INTUITION. When I heard Night By Night on a local radio show, I had no idea this band existed.

A shame they only released one album because this one is superb melodic hard rock. Not a filler in sight.

    Some of my favorites:
