  1. Wowser, I'm embarrassed to say I don't actually know. Which means I need to spend some more time with this CD.

Not necessarily true. I've listened to it relentlessly, and I'm not sure I can pick a favourite from this release. It's easily my favourite album of theirs.

It really is a strong release. I think it's more consistent than "Domino Effect" and it's right up there with "Lipservice".

    I'm hooked on this disc!

  2. Been listening to a lot of these dudes since Steve Lee's death. Noticed there wasn't a poll for this release, which is going to turn out to be the last with Steve.

What is your top tracks on this?

My favorite is actually the bonus track "Ain't Enough" followed closely by "Unspoken Words", "Need To Believe", and "Don't Let Me Down". "Shangri-La" has really grown on me the last few days also.

    Kickass disc!!

  3. I wasn't trying to be an ass. Sorry Dan.

Maybe it's like that other dude said.... I'm not that interesting!!

Let me take a moment to say I love this site. It's the most kickass hardrock/aor/metal site I've been on. Dan and whoever moderates does an outstanding job.

I didn't realize that there are actually 3 sites you dudes have to add discs too and I realize they all have to be reviewed.

To answer your question Dan, it was Rhino Bucket's latest disc "Who's Got Mine" that I submitted way back in December and it's still not listed. No big deal. Was just wondering aloud why it takes so long.

If you send an address Dan, I'd like to make a donation. I'd like to put my money where my mouth is. (Awesome JET tune) :guitbannana:

    I refuse to use PayPal.

  4. If a few weeks go by without CDs being added here at HH, it's not going to kill the site...

A few weeks?? Try months!! I don't know how many CDs get submitted in a given week but goddamn, it shouldn't take MONTHS to add a CD to the site.

I also feel as a newbie my opinions don't matter. Hell, I don't even get many responses when I post topics so I move on to other sites where you don't have to be in a clique to make friends.

    Just my humble opinion.

  5. IMO, several are as good as Taking Dawn but what you probably want to know is if they're as 80's styled as Taking Dawn? ;)

The answer would be no, but a few albums that'd be well worth checking out are:

A Change of Pace - 'Prepare the Masses'

    Boys Like Girls - 'Lovedrunk'

Papa Roach - 'The Paramour Sessions'

    Hedley - s/t

Funeral For a Friend - 'Tales don't tell Themselves'

    Silly Fools - 'The One'

All of them have plenty of elements that you may have loved about 80's rock. :)

Thanks Geoff. I'll check 'em all out and tell you what I think.

I did just check out the now defunct Fallbrooke mp3's on Google and while I wasn't overly impressed, it wasn't all that bad actually.
