  1. Damn straight it does Cap! I love "The Healer" too! I think a lot of folks wrote this disc off as "the guitarist from Judas Priest recording some of his songs that weren't good enough to make the Priest CDs",but that couldn't be further from the truth. Good tunes, and the man does all the vocals & guitars by himself, plus has some killer guests helping him out..i.e. Billy Sheehan, Cozy Powell, Don Airey, Jon Entwhistle. Picked this up on cassette back in 97, and finally got around to grabbing the CD earlier this week! I also like Voodoo brother with Whitfield Crane on backing vox, thats another great song! Oh now ya gone & done it,guess what album I just put on!
  2. I bought that I,Napolean album a few years back and the only song I even remotely liked was Come back soon (the La La La song),but only cause I found it humorous! I dont own that CD anymore!

  4. I fucking love his version of Paint it black! That song rips!
  5. Wanderlust-S/T Firehouse-Prime time Fastway-Bad bad girls
  6. I absolutely love the ballad "Could it be love",if that had been recorded by someone like Bryan Adams it woulda been a massive hit single!
  7. I used to have a few songs from this years ago on tape so I been waiting for it to hit CD for years! Basically Thor is like a watered down Manowar, but I prefer that! This is the best Thor album to buy as well as the best songs are on it (Start raising hell,& Let the blood run red). The lyrics are similar in style to Manowar, kinda cheesey but in a good way! Dont expect a technical masterpiece & you'll love it!
  8. Very interesting album, kind of a more mellow version of Cheap Trick! The duet with Maria McKee on Show me heaven is almost identical to her solo version but with Robin handling the verses! Anyway, currently listening to my latest purchases: Thor-Only the strong Enuff Z'Nuff-Favorites Got the EZN CD for free as my friend who is a DJ had Chip Z'Nuff on her show & they had two competitions, one for a copy of the Drama Queen Die CD (which I won) & another for an EZN t-shirt (which I didnt win). Because I didnt win the second competition,my friend blagged a copy of the new EZN best of CD "Favorites" for me from the record company guy! Now thats what I call a good friend!

  13. Rock on Bobbi! "Too High To Fly", "Lesser of two Evils", "Nothing Left to Say"......GREAT stuff there! Yeah! You inspired me! I even tried 'Smoke This' again. Turned it off after three songs Terrible, terrible album!

Just as well. i think Captain Howdy has that hairstyle. Altho' from the latest pics it looks like he's chopped them all off (hope his real name isn't Samson). What can I say,I was bored one day!

  20. I could go with about 1000 Clint Eastwood,James Bond or Arnie quotes, but just for the moment I'll just say "Shut the fuck up Donnie!"
  21. Eddie Money-Heaven in the back seat (promo CD single) Fastway-Trick or treat soundtrack
  22. Must admit I aint heard any of the stuff he did with Tyla!
  23. Tell ya what, although A bit of what you fancy is probably their finest overall album, the follow up Bittersweet & twisted is an overlooked gem of an album. Just listen to the song King of New York, now that is one beautiful song!
  24. Lets face it The Quireboys drew most of their influences from The Faces era Rod. Saw the Quireboys support Roth back in Feb & I gotta say that Spike is one of the few singers out there who still sounds as good now as he always has. You can see how much he enjoys being up on stage & looks barely a day older than he did when he recorded A bit of what you fancy! Only thing by him I havent been keen on is his Gods Hotel album,it just didnt have the spark or the hooks of the QBs!
