  1. Gonna be one of my favorite releases of the year.....
  2. The Rescuers (1977) and The Rescuers Down Under (1990) - a couple of decent animated flicks which are better than the majority of animated films we see these days....
  3. Vertical Limit (2000) - absolute silly shit but if you can stand the pathetic portrayal of mountain climbing you will be able to get through it...and this is from someone who knows almost nothing about climbing...
  4. Has it been re-released? It certainly deserves to be....
  5. The Mummy (2017) - I enjoy action flicks with well done cgi and this one delivers....assuming you don't mind Tom Cruise Armed Response (2017) - nothing new but still watchable action flick with Wesley Snipes
  6. Must admit to liking the organ sound.....rare these days....definitely feels like a 70s throwback....
  7. I didn't know these guys were still making music.....as usual with my picks, it is not for everyone...lol
  8. Something a little different....A cover release by a female group doing symphonic metal covers of songs by mostly female pop artists...decent...
  9. My favorite is Shadowland, but all of the Johnny releases are good. The 8th Sin and Grand Illusion had a more hard rock vibe than the others. Afterlife Shadowland New World Messiah Grand Illusion The 8th Sin Cool, thanks for your thoughts, I'll check out Shadowland I haven't listened to Shadowland in a long time but I haven't been disappointed in any of their releases...The 8th Sin is my favorite and is the only one I have close at hand...Once I get settled in my new digs I plan to install a lot of shelf space so that I can have access to the majority of my cds and I will be spinning all their cds again...
  10. Pretty average stuff...if it didn't have Alice Cooper's name on it, it would not catch anyone's interest....
  11. Two old sci-fi B flicks.... The Man From Planet X (1951) - not very good but worth a few laughs for the portrayal of the alien... Them! (1954) - this one was quite watchable if you can handle B & W and 50s effects...a lot of recognizable faces acting in it...
  12. Decent song and a pretty good band....none of their releases have blown me away but they are always very listenable....
  13. I own all their releases,,,,,so I'll be getting this....
  14. I'm glad they are making a comeback....I had over 500 before I moved and much to my surprise was able to sell the whole lot to a store called the Dupe Shop (https://www.duplication.ca/dupeshop/)...I didn't have the patience to try to sell them on eBay so I figured I would have to toss them...I hope to never see another cassette again lol...
  15. I wasn't sightseeing....just a straight drive from Mississauga to Yarmouth (NS)....I do plan to tour the 4 Atlantic provinces over the next few years but for now I need to buy a house and get settled... What's the reason for the move? Moving back to my hometown after 30 years in the big shitty....
