I enjoyed these 2 songs from Swedish selections Melodifestivalen, kind of pop country and power ballad

Rebecka Karlsson - Who I am (Melodifestivalen)
-
catchy song

that intro is straight from 1985

clearly the best song of 2019 so far
Emarosa doesn't sound like synthpop to me.... sounds like a pop/rock song.

very pleasant songs, thank you for sharing

Mission Impossible Fallout (2018) - a fun action movie
Searching (2018) - good movie, crime mystery drama kept me interested all the way through.
Patient Zero (2018) - a bit of a letdown, expected this to be a faster moving zombie-type of movie, buti it ended up pretty slow
Hot Summer Nights (2017) - an ok coming of age drama about a teen in 1991.
Der Hauptmann (The Captain) (2017) - an interesting WWII story based on real events, movie is in German

Three great albums from this band. I really like 'em.Shame they don't the succes they deserved.
Don't turn around was written by Diane Warren, first was performed by a funky/reggae band.
according to Wikipedia Tina Turner first performed it...
later Ace of Base version was popular too

Well Well Well - Back to you (1988), good if not so known 80's song

some very engaging tracks here, good melodic hr, I like a lot
lol is it me or does the singer in that video look like Jeffrey Jey (Gianfranco Randone), the singer of Italian Eurodance band Eiffel 65 (remember Blue Da Ba Dee song?). I had to check to make sure it wasn't him
-
definitely some edgier songs on there than the first single, I liked it

They play what should be a pleasing type of AOR, but the songs are just weak and poorly written. Way too basic.
I think this band has AOR formula down just right, and I think all songs have good melody hooks and good vocals. Nothing average here imho

good band, pleasant song
-
this album is a real treat for anyone who likes classic AOR, good stuff
-
I loved it, wonderful electropop ballad! Thank you

it's ok, similar to some post-grunge bands that were popular a decade or so ago

Good song

"Curtains" (1983)
A group of actresses gathers at a director's secluded country estate in order to audition for his new film. Soon a masked killer starts whittling down the competition one by one.
This slow moving, rather dull slasher/mystery takes way too long to get the body count moving. I'm told that it has something of a cult following nowadays, but it didn't do much for me. Skip it.yeah, but the mask in Curtains was pretty creepy. And the scene on the road with the creepy doll, also very effective. Ending was unpredictable too. Watched it last night and enjoyed it.
Also watched Black Christmas (1974), good one as well. One of the actresses from above is in it. The Christmas Story director connection is awesome. And young Olivia Hussey is very attractive, so is Margot Kidder

Bullet Head (2017) - nice criminal drama with John Malkovich and Adrien Brody
Battle of the Sexes (2017) - the Billie Jean King bio drama, pretty good, I was surprised to see quite few comedian actors in it..
Borg vs McEnroe (2017) - also tennis drama similar to the above, but a bit more serious and not as fun

new one from VNV Nation is very engaging synth dance
VNV Nation - When is the Future?
Wake The Nations - Heartrock
in AOR and Hard Rock
