Guest theczar
I'm writing an in-depth magazine article on Richie Kotzen, an artist who I'm a huge admirer of. When penning such pieces, I like to distinguish my work by going into the kind of detail that marks out the writer as a true enthusiast. I've hit a brick wall regarding Kotzen's soulful venture, Wilson Hawk's 'The Road', created in collaboration with producer Richie Zito. I think distribution of the album was limited (CD Baby), and my copy is digital, so of course without sleeve notes. What I'd really like to know is about the other musical contributors involved, and specifically who provides the rich, sonorous backing/occasional co-vocals on track three: 'Over'. Maybe you have a CD of the album & it has such information? I've emailed the info address on Kotzen's website and had no reply (Zito too). It strikes me as unusual, as if someone was writing a (print) magazine piece on me then I'd want them to get the details spot on (you'd be surprised how many bands/artists don't respond though), but hey, I'm a fan of the guy's music, not his administrative skills!
