A buddy of mine in jr high and high school always got record and tape mags and was a rich farm kid so he would order anything and everything. He got me into lesser known bands like Shok Paris and Mammoth. I started hanging out at a cool record shop called Ernie November and those guys were always playing new music, plus they had a huge 50 cent used tape bin that they always kept full so that was a good way to hear new bands (be they good or bad ) along with Headbangers Ball.

Comic Book - The Movie Really funny, Mark Hamill is the director and also plays the lead character. Worth watching just for the "camera man" that follows Mark around filming the "documentary" who is also in a Warrant cover band called "Subpena".

I like Twitter. I don't do any tweets or twitters myself (or whatever it's called) but I find it's very useful to stay up to date on the hockey and other sports teams I follow. Other than that fb is the only other one I use.

Legendary Canadian band KILLER DWARFS, are very excited to announce that they are reuniting to support the release of their 'lost' album Start@One. The tracks were recorded in 1993 at Powerlines Studios in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with Producer/Engineer Fred Duvall. Fred also recently produced and recorded the very successful RUSS DWARF acoustic release Wireless.
Start@One features the same lineup as 1992's Method To The Madness: Russ Dwarf Graham (vocals), Gerry Dwarf Finn (guitar and vocals), Bad Ronbo Dwarf Mayer (bass and vocals) and Darrell Dwarf Millar (drums and vocals).
The original master tapes are currently being digitally remixed and re-mastered for the release scheduled for early July 2013. This is the 20th anniversary of the recording of this never released album.
The tracklisting for Start@One is:
'Lonely Road'
'Solid Ground'
'Sky is Falling'
'Adelina'
'Psycho Circus'
'Start @ One'
'Down in Hollywood'
'Walk on By'
'The Crowd'
Plus two new bonus tracks that are being written just for this release.
Chances are the titles are different but I bet the same tracks mostly. Killer tunes though...can't wait!
Barring any bad news I'll be seeing these guys in Oct at Skull Fest and I plan on grabbing the new album then. Really looking forward to seeing them live for the first time ever and hearing the remastered versions of these songs.

I'm through the first three tracks and as with their previous releases I am loving this! Anyone getting a Firehouse vibe?

One of my coworkers is up to a 12 pack a day. Not sure how someone can drink that much and still be functional.
You'd be surprised. When I worked at Kmart I was up to two 40-ouncers of malt liquor a night....I always say my KMart experience gave me 20 extra pounds, a drinking problem, and a thousand percent increase in my hatred for humankind.
...and that "Shirley Shrinkage" superheroine is fucking hilarious. Kmart could never top that.
A buddy of mine drinks at least a case on his days off...and he drives over the road semi.

That great! I actually still use Goldwave. Dumb question, but how do you delete/replace the spoken words but keep the music intact?

I'm somewhat underwelmed by it to be honest. Much prefer the Dio era and also the Tony Martin era.
Yes and yes so yeah I agree. I've tried playing it a second time and it's just hard to get through these songs or jam sessions or whatever you call them.
I've tried getting through this album 3 times. All three times I have had to put something else in the player to keep me from falling asleep. No wonder I was was able to get it for $4.00.
You paid too much!!!!
Absolutely I did...about $5.00 too much, because the band will need to pay me to listen to it again.

^^^ "Adriana" continues to e-mail me, I don't have the heart to tell her I'm already taken, poor girl.
On another topic, I got this one today, and it is definitely the most RANDOM spam I've received in awhile...
Hello,
How are you doing? I'm Mr. Scott Warrick and I will like purchase (Esox Cobra Magnum Jig) from your company. Can I have a link that will take me directly to the types of toilets that you carry with the prices attached to it. What types of payment do you accept?
Have a nice day,
Mr. Scott Warrick
I'm tempted to respond and tell him that I only accept payments in malt liquor and Hastings gift certificates. :
I'll take an Esox Cobra Magnum Jig Toilet as well. Malt liquor will be sent Fedex asap.
