I bought that LInkin Park disc since I heard one song from a soundtrack a couple of months ago which was really good. When I pu in the disc I thought I have got the wrong disc. I usually quite openminded when it comes to music but I could not deal with that disc. I thought it was complete rubbish .
But I'm 100 % with you Dan on Treat and Pretty Maids. That Treat would make such an comeback album was a real schock to me but a nice one.

I think it's her best. It's also her most hardrocking release if I remember correctly. Point of no return is a great song.

In a joint statement released to the media, Martin Sweet (guitar), Peter London (bass) and Eric Young (drums) said, "As a bandmember, but most of all as a person, we will miss him for all eternity. Dave was nothing but a genius and a very special person. CRASHDIET will definitely not continue as a band. CRASHDIET consisted of four people and now one has left us."
Eh? Did I miss something? (I haven't been here for long, so I probably did.)
Cool band though. I found the following surprising, until I found out that 3 members of the band are/were in Repugnant: "In the mid 1990s he was the lead singer of an old school death-metal band called Warpath and used to play the charango."
He was the original singer/guitarist of Crash Diet and the driving force of the band, writing most of the songs off the debut Rest in Sleaze. It was hard at the time of his death to see them continue and become what they are today,,,,

The song was really. Unbelievable that I have never heard of them since I'm just living 80 km north from them. I need to check out the whole album.

Have anyone heard the singer?
I just checked out some samples of his other band LAST EMPIRE on CDBaby and ummm....wow. They were...not good.
I guess vocally the guy sounds OK but WOW the band is pretty lame. Hopefully the VR material will be stronger/better produced!!
If you're curious, give New Guy a listen here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/lastempire09
I see what you mean. The sound was rubbish, especially the drums, but the singer might be good in VR. He has a very high pitch voice. Let's wait and see,,,

Jap bonus tracks are usually really good. So I tend to buy the jap. version of a really good album.
Just listen to the bonus tracks on Hardline: Double eclipse, Heat: Freedom Rock and Accept: Blood of the nations....

If I buy an album and then they put out a "cool version" or bonus tracks - I download the bonus tracks. They don't get my money twice.
That's a good way to work around this situation

The Dirt is great. Hammer of the gods, an autobiography about Led Zeppelin is almost as good as the dirt. Simular story but it take place 1-2 decades earlier.
