So how many goals have they scored in the 2nd chukka?
Ooooh! Don't mock your dicing with death...
I've been following this thread on a daily basis..but won't comment, I like cricket but I'm hardly as well up on it as these good folk and they would just mock my childish rantings!!
-
Bloody hell this hurt my brain too (not that that is difficult)!!!
I've deleted my comments hopefully before anyone read them as I obviously misread what Wotty wanted!!!
And if you had read them then you would all have thought I was nuts!

One day ..... just ..... just maybe I'll get there (Cloud cover breaking ... cue sunbeam from above shining on me!). It's a dream at the moment though...sigh!
Nice one Geoff ... now if you can just catch Dan!!!
Is it true about appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone????

Dropped through door today (Monday) Lightspeed - So Exactly Where Are We?

Wow!! That's good to know...I nearly bought the Camp version of the China Sky CD too, but I thought it looked a bit dodgy! Especially when I was certain that some of the other releases being sold by the same guy have not had an official re-release for sure .
Luckily... I guess ... I paid (quite) a little more for an original PARC label release!

China Sky - S/T (about time I replaced the vinyl...waited too long!!)

Wall of Silence - Shock to the System
Giant - Time to Burn

This only goes up to approx 1983, but there's great info in there. I have the version with the Blue and Pink cover
International Encyclopedia of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal
It also can be found HERE
Yeah ...I've that one I think it's Maiden on the front or summat...hope I haven't thrown it when I moved house. It was full of little notes I'd entered e.g. adding new albums to the listings and band member changes....Jeez was I getting geeky!
What was great was the info you could find out about little know acts like Mannequin and Cintron!!! An essential book for a rock fanatic pre internet days!
I'll have to look for it ... I'm sure I saw it in the loft the other day ... when I was looking for something .. I hope!!!!

Had to go with Earthshaker as that still gets played at least once a month or so even after all this time.....Plus apart from Open Fire it's the only one I still own! Shouldn't have sold the ones I did!!!

We have a special gig tonight as our present drummer is leaving for pastures new, and the new drummer joins the fold. Also some friends I haven't seen for a long time are also coming, aswell as this being the last gig before I depart on Holiday in a week. Plus the Pub were playing serves Old Speckled Hen so I think a very good night is in order. I will make sure I have a pint for each and everyone of you here.Cheers 'n' Beers :chug:
Jez
Hope you have a great night....if you drink as much as I hope you will then you'll probably pick up on this reply around Wednesday!!! Just make sure that the bass you're playing has the same number of strings when you start the set as it does towards the end of the night and not twice as many!!!!
I guess as I'm typing this you're probably in the pub/bar trying to figure out who the guy looking back at you from the ashtray full of beer is!!!! All the best!!!!

Blanc Faces - S/T

The "to buy" list just keeps getting longer (while the money supply doesn't grow at nearly the same rate.)
Haha I know that feeling
BUT given Wotty's, Geoff's and T-Bone's (nice overview of the band TB) I have had to put stuff on the back burner to check this out.....like food and beer....
(priorites priorities!!!) Just ordered it this minute....oooooh I'm excited...now I gotta wait a little for the Wig Wam CD
Nick
You should have gone for the Wig Wam first mate - A much better album. The Blanc Faces is good, but so far lacks the one killer track I was expecting from it. Have to agree that it does dip in the middle and gets a little samey in places. Worth you hard earned cash though, but I know which of these 2 albums will get more play time!!!
Hiya Jez,
With any luck Wig Wam won't be too long...what with Saga and Journey due plus still haven't got the Kim Mitchell + dvd yet!!!!!
What's a spinnin' in your CD player?
