  1. I've been buying the unfrosted strawberry. I actually thought I was doing the healthy thing by foregoing frosting

The frosting contains all the vitamins. Alot like the foam in beer :chug:

Is that true???? Naw!!!!.......Is it????? Huh???? Look I'm easily conned...what?? Sure I'll mail you £500 just as long as I get that Yeti claw!!!

Is that REALLY true about the foam???? Huh??

  2. Well it's all wrapped up and is going to the post office tomorrow!!!

Yep take a pic of the CD somewhere / anywhere...include yourself in the pic if you want or if your shy no prob ... then post the pic....whoever PM's you first after you post your pic it gets it next. :)

No real time limit on keeping the CD ... if your going on holiday somewhere cool then keep it until you go and then do the business haha!

  3. Wotters

One day gone and no PM's doesn't look like anyone wants to take it for a trip!! Maybe I should dress up in a Kimino and make a little shrine, bow to the four corners of the world, cast feathers to the four winds, then sacrifice it to the ancient dragon lord Nickcmotosaki using the element intrinsic to his being FIRE. Then the smoke can rise through the heavens and he will sit on his jade throne and cast good fortune on me!

Or I could just bin it!!

Come on does anyone want to start? It doesn't have to be anywhere famous, just your garden or on the bonnet of the car. :crying:

  4. Had a few beers yesterday and engaged in my favourite topic....talking rubbish about music with a like minded friend non stop for about 4-5 hours while visiting numerous hostelries haha!! Loads of Fosters, :chug: Carling :chug: and the occassional pint of bitter :chug: and even a couple of ciders were downed :chug: !!!!! Then straight intio a taxi home before these early frosts got to my extremeties!!!!

Bit fragile this morning but now I'm a happy little lad with some good but fuzzy memories!!! Don't think we solved any world problems ... but you never know...I'll check the newspapers later to see if we did.

  5. OK I bought this CD by a band called Ten Seconds Over Tokyo...it's pretty dull and to tell the truth it's not even worth re-selling even if anyone wanted it.

So I thought in the interests of promoting world peace <_<<_< what about sending it on a journey around the world or at least HH members.

Here's how it works, the 1st person to PM me I'll mail the CD to .... simply take a picture of yourself with said CD and then as soon as you post your pic then the first person to PM you gets it sent on to them .... and so on and so forth...

If your going somewhere cool like the Grand Canyon or Eiffel Tower or even Bert Mucklow's Tyre yard then keep the CD a few months and take it and get the picture taken there!! I'll hopefully track the course of it on it's travels and you never know it might even spend Ten Seconds Over Tokyo ... or at least Tokyo Joes restaraunt haha!

Dunno if anyone wants to join in on this ... if not it'll probably die a death like most of my other posts hahaha :P Or That little CD will over the next century or so do a lot of travelling!! :P

To get this rolling here's the first pic from Manchester, England.

Unfortunately there's nowhere impressive in Middleton so this is taken in the back garden on a cold winters day (you can tell it's cold as I have a scarf on <_< )

  6. Nice post Geoff!

I have to go for Aerosmith

I got into them around October 1977 when I was 15 and they just rocked the f*ck outta my world (I was into stuff like the Eagles and Tangerine Dream up to that point). Although there are loads of bands that I love from around the same period 1994, Starz, The Godz, Gamma e.t.c. this was the band that provided the soundtrack for my adolesence and really got me away from soft rock to hard rock. It was the band I fought tooth and claw for against the sneers of my peer group who said they were washed up even then....a statement that never seems to have gone away actually ... see recent Flamefest topic. The only other Aerosmith fan I knew at the time was a guy called Steve who lived the other side of Manchester!! But they have outlasted most of the bands around at that time and have probably been more successful than many of them in the long run too and so have justified my faith in 'em.

I loved the sound the band had just good and raw and great riffs no overlong boring guitar solo's. I always felt special when I put my one and only (at the time) Aerosmith shirt on that my sister had sent across from Canada. I lovingly embroidered the wings on the back of my denim jacket.

Rocks is still my all time favourite album and I know I've mentioned this somewhere on the site before but it was sooo sweet when I bumped into one of the old punks who at school used to take the piss outta me for liking them. She had an Aerosmith shirt on and commented how she remembered me being into them and that she had personally always liked the band. Pah!

Just a footnote for LV KIX - I went through the same feelings when after Night in the Ruts there was rumours that Aerosmith would split...devastated but then there was the announcement about a month or two later that they would soldier on. I was also on a downer when I heard Kix had split as they are another of my fave bands! At least they do the occassional gig now glad you got to see 'em again you lucky lucky chap! :)

  7. Through the door

Axe - Living on  the Edge

    Nick

You got it mate - good on ya - brilliant album - Have you got the 'S/T', Can't remember if you said you had it or not. If you don't, get the wallet ready for a bashing again, you naughty young man you?!!!!

    :drink:

Yeah got 'em both on vinyl and I had them both on CDRs (with the Babyface tracks ..yawn) but I can't find them anywhere, it's weird that the Axe ones both disappeared .... so I had to start to replace 'em!! Got some overtime next week so it's Axe next ...probably after xmas !
