  1. seriously the big bang babies s/t has been found on CD over the years through out our fine country, australia, in melbourne atleast twice, sydney, brisbane !!! :)

i think dixons blackburn or prahan may still have the big bang babies s/t on cassette. Phenomenal stuff!!!

Yeah, i know it can all be found here.

There was a mail order service (Raggamuffin) run by someone I know a few years ago, and they ordered in copies of stuff like Alleycat scratch, Heart Throb Mob, Big Bang Babies, ... in there 100's so i believe you.

I picked up Heart Throb Mob 'Eat Your Heart Out' for $5 at cash converters, and Alleycat Scratch 'Deadboys' for $15 through another trader.

  2. :drink: Congratulations! So now you have access to the buy-sell-trade board Glam Junkie mentioned! Everything you buy sells for half it's worth, and everything you sell goes for double! woohoo! ;)

    Hot Boy...

    Rock Boulevard....

    Big Bang Babies....

    Surrender....

I heard they're all availalbe for a spare change on the 300+ board.

Not to mention all those bands us plebs on this baord have never even heard. Apparently every review on the other board includes the phrase 'better than Friction'.

Even better, you can sell you old worn copy of Bon jovi 'slippery when Wet' or Kiss 'Dynasty' for hundreds of dollars on the new board.

I can't wait until i grow up! :crying:

  4. I am a bit of a beer addict and try every new and imported beer i see for sale. Once consumed i keep the bottle or can for my collection.

Unfortunately last night I had what I would describe as the only beer in the 300-400 I have tried which was so disgusting that it was undrinkable. Since i didn't want it i offered it to my housemate who works at a bar and even he couldn't drink it. Down the sink it went.

It was a 'dark' Belgian beer in a black bottle. Can't think of the name off the top of my head but if I remeber i;ll post it here next time I'm online as a beer to avoid at all costs... or try if you don't believe me.

  5. Thankyou Andy for identifying yourself.  I didn't know you lived in Melbourne, I thought you lived in Adelaide for some reason??  Maybe I'm getting you mixed up with Lindsay.

I haven't been into Radical Records for a while but I talk to Doggy quite a bit over the email and PM.  I'll have to pop in again sometime soon, I always spend to much money when I go there!!

P.S.  I asked Doggy if he thought they would stock our cd's and he said he didn't think so.

Andy, email me at david@suncityrecords.com and we can maybe catch sometime.

    Kind Regards

    Dave

Yep, that's right I'm from Adelaide, USA (United States of Australia). :cheer:

    cheers

  6. MelodicRockOz is not me!!  Leave me out of this.  I hope both labels do extremely well if they are above board.  All I have said on the issue is the way you (Sam) have conducted business in the past was not right, you have told me this via email.  I still have the email if you would like me to send it to you.

Just because MelodicRockOz is from Australia doesn't mean that we are the same.  Australia is as big as America but I wouldn't expect you to know that considering you are an American.

    Good luck with Retrospect Records.

P.S. One thing I can confirm is that we will certainly miss Joe, he was a real top bloke!!!

    Dave

    Suncity Records

Cool it Dave! Saying stuff like that will have you burning bridges to your label before they're even built.

  7. A stat on Darren Gough on the cricket last night...

On his last 14 'opening' bowling spells, he has taken a total of 4 wickets!

Yeah, I think this spells of being washed up.

It ain't over yet. Even though Gillespie took 3 wickets today, he is still far from what he used to be, as with Gough, I think his days are numbered and should be replaced for the Test matches. England on the other hand need to Fire and attack from the beginning, not try to see off McGrath/ Lee - playing safe don't work against the Aussies. I think the one dayers have been interesting, one match England dishing out a good thrashing (less than a week ago) and now the Aussies doing the same. Should be a very interesting couple of months ahead and don't take it for granted it's all going to be one way traffic.

  8. if it wasn't for the music 99% of folks would be in the 'collecting' game so I'd have to say music. But there does come a time when a cd can hold more 'value' due to what it's worth on ebay compared to what is on the disc.

But i guess it's like any hobby, people will always question why.

Why pay 100's of millions for the original Mona Lisa when you can buy an identicle replica at the local poster shop for $5.....

why pay 1000's of dollars for a ticket to the superbowl when you can watch it on tv?

  9. Been a couple weeks since I posted (though I visit all the time, just to keep up on the madness  :D ).  Here's what I've added to my collection since the last time I put fingers to keyboard...

    ROOSTER: s/t

Does anyone know of a seller or supplier of the resealable plastic covers for cd's that you normally get with Jap Import cd's ???????? :drink:

  11. "Purplesleazycloudz" to "pinkfluffycloudz"...

sounds too similar to think it's not the same seller.

I think he'd have more accounts too as thepurplesleazycloudz account only has a history of buying, but I know for a fact that he was a seller aswell.

Might check out his bididng and buying history and see if I can find anything.

Looks like he has another account.........and he moved to the UK :) Keep track of this idiot. Looks like he is starting over again......... -_-

  12. T-Bone... how the hell am I meant to be able to read any of your posts when you have those things bouncing around on the side of the screen...

Back to the topic.... if people want to list handling charges then it's up to them (and the buyer buys the item knowing there are handling charges) but when the buyer add the charges on after the fact that is not on.

I think we can all agreee on that.

    cheers

    Lindsay
