  1. eBay, in its infinite wisdom, or lack thereof, suspended my account today for "being linked to another suspended account". I have no idea who this other account is, or why I was associated with it. Why I do know is that I'm going to do everything in my power to get to the bottom of this and restore my account/auctions/store ASAP.

Please bear with me as this may take some time. eBay's "guilty-before-proven-innocent" customer relations policy is heavy-handed, their customer service reps are about as clueless as they come, and they obviously suspend first, ask questions later.

I can assure you guys i WILL be back, and not to fear- all orders/CDs you may have recently won will be shipped, if they haven't already been put in the mail.

If you have any questions, you can email me at

    Thanks!

  2. First couple songs are cool ("Miracles, Hands of Love") then it just starts to get pretty forgettable. I remember finding a bunch of BLONZ CDs in a pawn shop in Michigan and inside everyone were BAD ENGLISH self-titled discs!! Some sort of manufacturing error... how could anyone confuse the two?! ;)

I initially bought BLONZ for the Kansas connections: Steve Walsh and Phil Ehart were involved, but didn't exert much influence on the band's sound (unfortunately).

  3. Jean Beauvoir (Crown of Thorns) qualifies, I think. So does John Butcher Axis.

In the 80s, a few well-known R&B singers/groups did some AOR tunes (Lionel Richie's "Running with the Night", Kool & The Gang's "Misled" and Billy Ocean's "Loverboy" rocked reasonably hard).

Then there's Living Color, Mother's Finest, etc. who rocked through the color lines.

  4. Wow- thanks to everyone who has backed me on this thread. The way I treat my customers comes from being a collector myself... I know all too well the frustrations of postal delays, smashed-up jewel cases, items that don't quite live up to their expectation etc.

Metal T- if you have any problem with any CD you get from me, I am always in the mood for making things right. Whether it's a full-on refund, a credit for another item or a replacement, there's always a solution... just as long as you keep in touch with me and stay civil. Hell, if Sam at Retrospect and I can mend our fences, there's no dispute that can go unresolved! :drink:

As for PJ, I can't speak on his behalf, but I do e-mail him frequently and I'll definitely get on his case if I know there's a problem he needs to address...

  5. Jamie Levine is back, once he was pooopylove and 0313ja (now no longer registered on eBay) and now he's metalheadinahalf, a zero feedbacker with a big thirst for rare CDs. He won a CD from me last weekend, and no payment/contact yet. He's also gone shopping on eBay in a BIG WAY over the last week or so, and I'm wondering when the negs and non-paying bidder reports will start pouring in. If you're a seller who he's won from, get ready to re-list.

Martin Levine (windsoreyes2), however, remains a solid buyer and a fast payer.

  6. "The store is Koogles, but the Buy It Now stuff is PJ stock from Japan."

Fuck.. This means that I have bought two CD's from PJ without knowing it

Hey Lasse... all the CDs you buy from me are mine and none of them are being sold from Japan, PJ or some off-shore drop-shipper. I have 12,000 CDs in my basement. And I've got a not-too-impressed girlfriend to prove it!!!

  7. Just to set the record straight, all the CDs you see are MINE, not PJ's. PJ liquidated his inventory to me and is now longer associated with the CDs on endangeredcds. Kiss My Disc, for all intents and purposes, is dead.

Anyone who had any trouble with PJ can rest easy, knowing that the same stock is being offered by a seller who stands behind every sale 100%. I take your satisfaction VERY SERIOUSLY and will make sure everything is done fair, done fast and done right.

I have a lot of CDs to sell here (over 3,500 more haven't even hit eBay yet) and get this- 99% of them will be going for $14.95 (or less!). Keep checking the endangeredcds store for a wild array of Japanese imports at prices that will blow your mind, not your wallet!

P.S. The reason the store inventory and the auction inventory can't be combined is because the shipping costs for the store are slightly higher to allow for future rate increases with Canada Post. (And an increase was just announced, how 'bout that??!) I'd hate to have to change 5,000 listings on eBay thanks to Canada Post inflation!!! What can I say... it's a pre-emptive strike.

  8. Like some clever guy told me. "The moors and moors he bids, the less and less he pays".

He owes me a few payments as well. I had to report an unpaid items dispute and still no response.

I think the 6 negs he received today may have doomed us all. Once he gets the negs rollin' and he's over his head on payments he tends to fold and disappear, only to re-appear a few months later to start the pattern all over again.

I hope he does come through, but I've been down this road many times before with this bidder.

I just received payment from Katandkira75... thanks to Dave Moors for allaying my fears. CDs on their way!
