  1. Tim was one of the good guys. I fondly remember our talks about music over the phone. He turned me on to many great AOR/melodic bands and was one of the nicest collectors out there. He was also an active member on this site. So it was with both shock and sadness I learned of his recent passing from COVID-19.
    R.I.P. Tim.

  2. Bought a number of CDs from me, had an issue with one CD and then filed a chargeback for the entire order (almost $100!). eBay melodic/AOR sellers: do NOT deal with this buyer- BLOCK HIM IMMEDIATELY- because he WILL take your money. He has NO CONSCIENCE and stops replying after a while because he is a coward and a con artist who abuses the Paypal buyer protection program.

  3. anaccapela10.... gave him a chance, but what a ridiculous piece of shit. Claims he never got the CDs and wants me to refund him and then he'll pay me back when the package is delivered and/or is returned to me and I re-send. Yeah, right. He tried to do a Paypal chargeback and the only reason it didn't go through was because he filed it outside of the time frame. Also bitched about how I didn't send the package registered. Well, you don't pay for registered, you don't get registered. And registered shipping here in Canada costs out the ass!!!!!!!

Any sellers out there... trust me. DON'T give him the benefit of the doubt. Block its irritating ass. You don't want/need the aggrevation. As Dave let us all know, he's also super-anal and demanding as hell.

I thought I'd give him one chance, NOT worth it.

    Block!

  4. Yeah, just my Wildstreet CD today... thanks Sam! What a blast this disc is! Like Lights Out on the Playground-era Baton Rouge mixed with Loud & Clear of course, DEF LEPPARD! Big sounds, seemingly thousands of layered vocals mixed together for a huge, high-impact, faceful of rock the likes of which have been missing from the scene for years.

  5. Hey thanks to everyone for the congrats. I am really flattered, but it's just a number really. Now if I had a CD for every feedback, then that would be different, right? :) And then I guess my name would be James Gebbia! LOL. (And I would still have some catching up to do!)

Thanks again- and thanks to Dave for the thread!

    Cheers from Canada,

  6. Got an email from ebay this morning and they re-instated endangeredcds, without really telling me why or any of the mechanics behind their move. My guess is it was a case of "oops, we fucked up!", back you go to make us richer.

Now my store has to be re-built brick-by-brick, all my settings were wiped out. So bear with me, guys, cuz it might take a while to get everything back on track.

Thanks for all the support and e-mails while the chips were down, I really appreciate it.

  7. Thanks guys. Not a peep from eBay after 48 hours, the time by which they said I'd get a response from the appeals department. And they said being a powerseller, my dilemna would be given "priority status". What a pile of bullshit. There's no power in "powerseller", once eBay leaves you twisting in the wind.

A live rep said they were backlogged 4 days on the e-mail side. Hardly a surprise given the avalanche of complaints and dissatisfied sellers they must be dealing with now.

Great to hear about a few stories (thanks, Adriano and Mike Butt) of eBay disasters that turned out ok in the end. It gives me a little more hope for the future!!
