Hey I'm looking for a way to get back into Christian Hard Rock/Metal. I'm looking to find an online radio station that will play ONLY this kind of music. I've listened to the Message on Sirius/Xm but even adjusting "My Message" to play more "rock" songs is still too pop for my tastes. I've tried starting radio stations on Itunes but I can't seem to separate secular acts from the Christian acts. I love a lot of the music I hear on "Octane" on Sirius/Xm but I'm trying to find a way to enjoy more positive lyrics without sacrificing the aggressive sound I love so much.

My favorite band of all time is Dream Theater, but I also love the newer metal sounds like Trivium, Bullet for my Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, etc.

I would greately appreciate a helpful comment to get headed in the right direction. Thanks!!

That's actually a very hard question if taken seriously. I don't think I would have a song played at my funeral. Although there are many beautiful songs to choose from, finding one song to capture your life/attitude/spirit/essence whatever, would be difficult. Also, do you want your loved ones to feel happy or sad? Sorry, I've gone a bit deep. As for possible selections off the top of my head.

    Whitesnake - Blindman

    Whitesnake - Sailing Ships

Those two kick in a bit towards the end so may not be suitable.

If you want everyone at your funeral to be crying inconsolably, then...

    Europe - Tomorrow

That's all on you. Like I said, if you secretly want a very happy song played that's fine by me/us.😋 But, yeah if you want everyone at your funeral crying inconsolably then that's a great choice!

  4. Anyone know how to create a free website, that I can use for a fan website?? I don't want it to look professional, I wouldn't even care if it looked early 2000's like most obscure websites 😂😂

I tried tripod but the form wasn't working so I dunno.

But all the others make it look so professional and I don't need or necessarily want that. Anyone know?

  5. Poison- Something to Believe In

    4 Non Blondes- What's Up?

    Skid Row- I Remember You

Mötley Crüe- You're All I Need

    Damn Yankees- High Enough

    Europe- I'll Cry For You

Foreigner- Growing Up The Hard Way

(I hope this isn't against the rules)

    Stryper- Together As One

    Whitecross- Behold

There is too many to list them all but those are a few.

Well, you wanna get into it?

This song always did it for me, as I always felt it was about me.

    This one, too. The lines:

    "And as our season grew

The time came when I knew

My path lead from among my band of brothers

    And I can't describe

    How hard it was

Or how much we loved each other"

Those words, I always thought those words would foreshadow that I would leave my group of friends. And, well, some shit happened last year, and I'm actually in a transition period in my life. So, it happened, just not the way I thought it would. But, yeah, I always knew it was gonna happen, so every time I listened to this song, it would hit me pretty hard.

    Dreamer makes me cry too!!!!

  7. Here I think this is where this should be posted --

WHAT SONG DO YOU WANT PLAYED AT YOUR FUNERAL??

    Anything-- I won't judge you 😂

It can be something completely irrelevant to death/funeral/sadness  it's okay- whether it's Jump by Van Halen or Idk it's your choice! If anyone picks Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) I'll give you a 'Thanks'!

Looking forward to some interesting ones! :lol:

    I haven't decided yet LOL

I started listening to it via the Hard Rock Show but then they ripped into Michael Sweet, which is generally cool, but they jaked and belittled his wife dying of cancer which was pretty fucked so I haven't seen anything they do since.

Kyle Sweet was so beautiful ♥️ Sorry off topic she's just someone I feel saddest about dying. 😔
