One song that hasn't really been mentioned that I really dig is "Perfect Ten". It perfectly captures the tone of the era. I remember being a college kid in the mid-late 1980s and Demi Moore was everyone's heartthrob.
I was a young school boy at the time…Dan is showing his age 🤣

Every time I hear “These Days” I think “Right Now” from Van Halen.

Some great Lillian Axe news for those with Spotify…all studio releases are now available.

Does anyone have a clean pair of shorts I can borrow?
the first two tracks were awesome but this one puts them to shame.

Without even giving it a listen this screams soft Scandi Westcoast AOR

Gave this album a listen. Pretty sure I'll be in the minority but just not exciting me much.
Now I'll say it is excellent for what it is and is a well crafted AOR album. I know the point of a solo album was to do something different than Degreed and he did that....but I guess I struggle a bit as I inevitably keep comparing this to Degreed who I dig and this is like Degreed Ultra-Lite.
That said....I do like a few tunes here. Don't Leave Me With A Broken Heart, Midnight Rain and Nitelife are pretty good and will be added to my playlist. Heart of Stone isn't too bad. It's really all very "nice" and listenable but that's about all that stood out for me upon my first listen.
I agree, the singles released were really good but as a whole the album doesn’t excite me much.

The story behind " When The Children Cry " is about the orphans that left behind wars.
You , Zachary, would know that if your a huge fan.
Don’t care it’s still a track I can’t listen to and yes I am a huge fan.

I’m a huge White Lion fan but I can no longer listen to “When The Children Cry”

Meh? Seriously??? That's one of the best fucking pure ballads in the last 5+ years if not longer. That guitar work was pure ear candy; perfect for the song. And their vocals blended wonderfully.
I must have been listening to something different from what some of the others here were listening to... egads.
Totally agree!

Seriously?!?! That’s a fucking great ballad…I’m expecting the shoe to drop with each track released…but damn they may be for real.
-
Not sure how great it really was…the secondary still scares me. They will get steamrolled by a top team if things don’t improve.
-
Definitely the band’s simplest release but still ear candy to me.
-
Album just dropped…and it’s absolutely delicious. Not a dud in the bunch. These guys just blow me away release after release. This and 2 new Abba tracks released on the same day…I’m in disco pop rock Heaven.

I Made Her Cry (When I Came In Her Eye) sounds like a SP-type ballad.
They already have one called Bukakke Tears. Great track from All You Can Eat

Gave this a spin and it’s better than I expected. It sounds great, well produced and top notch players.
-
Sounds like a million bucks. Cheesy as Hell but fantastic in every way. These guys just do it and do it right.

Holy shit! Great tune…one spin and I was hooked.

Could have been lifted straight off Loverboy’s “Just Getting Started”. Brilliant track from one of the best bands in Canada.
-
new original track called “Up To You”
-
Much better than the last single last month or so
-
Agree with everyone good music, terrible chorus…another “what could have been” story. The lyrics are also very lame

Totally agree

As a North American sports fan there are two reasons that I struggle with this sport…
1. the constant complaining, faking, rolling around and head holding garbage after any contact.
2. the fact a month long tournament can be decided by penalty kicks in the end.

Cap Outrun - High On Deception

Nolan knows with my love of Proggy AOR that this one will have me excited. I love it! Every track is spectacular and smooth. A real contender for my favourite release of the year.
