I've enjoyed a fair amount of his solo work. Worth dipping into.
He has some amazing solo stuff, including the surprisingly good Songs ILeft Behind album

Def Lep meets Trex again.
I'm ok with that.
Good songs are good songs. This one is catchy enough.

If you liked that one, I think you'll find this one to be pretty cool. It's not satirical though:

Production is tinny
But seriously that is a pretty good tune, ticks all the melody and hook boxes.

Nice song. Would love it a little more stripped back, but I've never heard this band before so all new to me.
-
Chorus is ok, but a fairly basic song.
Lyrically most people here could do better.
-
Yeah, I like that.
Trixter vibe without sounding too much like trixter.

Yep shits sure changed.
You'd think it would be easy to say
Young. Stupid mistake. Crime. Time.
I mean maybe he should have asked Vince Neil for some advice on how to handle a huge mistake, or Tommy charged with abuse.
But you're right about the constant reminder here. Not just of the incident, but of what a second BC album might have been...

ooh that song is much better than the last on e. love it.
Bon Jovi Wild In The Streets clone at times though

We are in Bali at the moment.
Aussies tend to use this place as a cheap escape.
I haven't been her for 12 years. First time was 30+ years ago and I still have vivid memories of all the cassette shops blasting 80s hard rock.
I'd walk past and hear bands I'd never heard before. We weren't really able to hear new US bands easily. No hard rock radio etc, obviously no internet.
Remember hearing some songs blasting and thinking "who is THAT?"Ā
never Enough by LA Guns, Kix, XZY, Faster Pussycat Ballad Of Jayne, White Lion, etc
I'd come home with 20 or so knock off cassettes and hope to make it through customs with them. Always did.
Then I'd play the hell out of them and either turf them or replace them with albums, then terf the cassettes if they were good. Eventually I'd replace them with CDs when they became a thing. Never did the knock off CDs, always stuck with the tapes so I wasn't tempted to keep the fakes.
No music shops here any more, obviously times have changed, but I still walk the street reliving those glory days š

I could not be happier for you and your Daughter mate.

Nah it's different to what you'd expect.
Don't care that much about what she's doing, so long as she is happy.
Band is doing well, but they're a great bunch of guys. That is more important in a lot of way to the success.

Listening to this in a shopping centre with the phone to my ear and it sounds ok.
But overall underwhelmed.
Bed City were awesome and his vocal we top notch. But I like to think I can disregard that and hear it for what it is.
I think it's the Christian stuff that is holding me back.
And I dealt with Stryper stuff no problems so I'm trying to figure out why this isn't sitting well
I guess times have changed and styper always came off as a bit gimmicky or shticky and kind of fun.
It's also 30 years later and I really don't care Bout the Christian messages. They are boring now. Even Stryper aren't as obvious in their lyrics these days.
Or maybe it's all just a reminder of the shit Josh did that landed him in jail? Silly to constantly remind people of that.
Would prefer just some fun rock music I think.

It's 3am here and had to hit the sack. Before I did I heard the first 4 tracks of this and it is indeed killer.
Def's give it a listen if you haven't.

Gonna take a few listens I think.
First listen to the last few songs has been meh, but after a few goes they are ok -
Why is there a Taylor Swift thread constantly appearing on my feed?
At the risk of offending Captain Howdy and being labelled as someone who has no brain or common sense, who really gives shit?
-
Pretty sure this band is not for meĀ
Reminds me of Georgio Moroder type stuff from the 80s

Not sure if this will work..

Saw an interview with Tommy and John 5 and John said that this new single was just the band playing in the studio.
It was like the 2nd or 3rd take of the band just playing.
What a load of shit. Nikki on bass?
Does anyone actually think that Vince is capable of singing though a song to create a studio quality recording? Let alone in a few takes?
Anyway, I really like the song after a few goes.

Only got 4 keepers off Bleeders, but before that got 9 off Wretched And Divine and 10 off Set The World On Fire, so hopefully this one is a return to before the last album.

Wow, harsh critics here.
I missed their last album for some reason so just listening to that in line with this one.
Most of my attention has gone to this new albumFL89
At The Radio Station
From AboveAre the early standouts for me.
I don't mind his voice, bit shakey at times, but the more you listen the more you seem to move on from noticing.
Musically it's full of melodies and hooks with no syrupy synth so I like it. -
Didn't mind it, it will grow on me, I can tell.
Vince seems to have dropped a register or two for most of the song.
Dare say they want him to be able to sing it live.
Kind of reminded me of when mark slaughter used his lower register, completely different obviously, but same vibe.

I'm happy the do different stuff. Otherwise what they do would get old.
Tesla proved how easy it is to make and album have a def Lep feel.
And I loved that album, as a one off.
And I loved slang as well.
