With that logic then every album Mutt Lange has ever produced would have been successful.......and I don't think so......
She still has to sing...and perform those songs. And truth be told....I think she had some 'hits' long before he entered the picture........of course, I could be wrong......but I doubt it. I'm biased.....
I'd say his list of production credits stand on their own merit:
http://www.bigbro.ca/produced.html
...and Shania certainly has had more hits singing his songs than her own... Same goes for Def Leppard and AC/DC. Lange is the "system," the artists are "interchangeable parts."
Doesn't mean she's not hot, and that's what this poll is actually all about anyway, right?

Gotta vote for my hometown girl Shania!!!
I'm not even a country music fan, but Shania is one of those artists that can play
multi-genre styles of music. You go girl!!!!
No offense to Shania, she is super hot, but think about this for a minute...
What was Foreigner's most successful album?
"4"
What was AC/DC's most successful album?
"Back In Black"
What was Def Leppard's most successful album?
"Hysteria"
What do these three albums and Shania Twain have in common? Shania's a divorce decree away from being nothing more than a pretty face (IMO).

Johnny Lima - Made in California
(Suprisingly good for an album released in the 21st. Century)

everyone seems to be getting the blind date cd, is it really that good?
I sure hope so. The reviews over on the comments page have really been glowing. Here are a couple samples from Perris Records:
Thanks for the links, BT.
My first thought is a "toned-down Firehouse."

That sucks, Mike. Luckily GEMM will refund your money. I had problems with a seller once and they returned my money "no questions asked."
Good luck!

And now Kelly Hanson from Hurricane is their new lead singer
I heard that, too???
Look, I like maple syrup and I like steak... but I don't like them together.
Kelly Hanson in Foreigner just doesn't jive, in my opinion.

Oh man.....that's funny!! They were my favorite band lonnnnnnng ago, then poof.....I didn't listen to them for YEARS!!!
Just recently I pulled out the S/T.......and was blown away all over again!!
"Headknocker", "The Damage Is Done" and "Fool For You Anyway" are my favorites, more than the "hits" from back then!!!
You're dead-on, BM. That S/T debut is so damn good it's increblible to think it was released nearly 30 years ago. Talk about a classic! "Feels Like The First Time" is pure genius.

You know, it's weird... Up until just a few months I didn't have a single Foreigner CD in my collection (and my collection is fairly large).
Stranger yet is that I grew up listening to those guys. I think Hot Blooded was a hit when I was in like the 4th. grade, and they released a few monsters during my junior high and high school days.
However, for some reason I never "really" was all that fond of them??? Perhaps it was the fact that I was much more into "metal" than "classic rock" during my youth, or perhaps it was the fact that MTV and all the radio stations played the HELL out of a few of their sappy ballads?
In any case, I now find myself listening to them every single day and I'm on a mad hunt to locate perfect mint / originals of their entire L.G. era catalog (I need the first three for my collection; HINT, HINT).
Funny how it took 25 years for me to truly appreciate just how good this band is (was).

Davesmetal was the only time I've been ripped off on ebay...luckily it wasn't for much money.
Skid,
You should try writing him at the listed address as well. From what I understand Dave is trying to make things right

Thanks to T-Bone and Stormy for some recent acquisitions!

check out Sin Dizzy, Oz Fox and Tim Gaines from Stryper formed this band after they split up. They made one cd (title doesn't come to mind right now...). Has some good songs on it.
I think the Sin Dizzy CD is titled "He's Not Dead." Don't quote me, however.
Petra - "On Fire" has been getting some play in my car lately, and it's very good.

Yeah, I used to offer Buy-It-Now, but I found myself offering the items at too low of a cost sometimes. I guess I just underestimated. I've had quite a few auctions end within an hour of posting....
That's okay with me, if I get the price I wanted to sell the item for.
My problem with "Buy it now" is that eBay changed its pricing and now it costs you arm and leg to include it and provided that in 60%+ it gets dismissed almost momentarily its not worth paying for it.
Maybe if eBay makes it so "Buy it now" stays active untill the price is met I would reconsider using it again, till then though, I'm through with it!
Ebay becomes less "seller-friendly" each and every day. Hell, they weren't making enough money before these additional fees, etc.?
I still search ebay every day for CD's (it remains the grail for finding the discs I'm looking for), but I also search gemm, amazon, etc. much harder and heavier than ever before. Ebay's greed has made me sick to my stomach.

Don't know how I've avoided this one for so long?
