  1. I've had good luck dealing with Christine.....Only once was the shipping slow (>2 wks.)....I also was the very fortunate recipient of a first pressing copy of "Lillian Axe: Love and War" for around $5.00 :christmas: , though the auction didn't list the item as such. Also snagged a very nice used copy of "Angel Heart (Germany): Transplantation" for about $7.00, don't think I've ever seen that disc listed that cheap anywhere else.....Jeff.

most all of there stuff Dave/Christine one in the same sell the BOOTS such as Roko , East Coast if they still are selling them !!!

  2. I donttthink the first casanova cd has been bootlegged but i feel that their "heroes" cd is, the one that looks like a Japanese pressing.

I have not went through this whole thread but here are a few booted that I have got ripped in the old ass for or seen :

    Edguy - all releases

    Sinner - all releases

    WASP - all releases

    Casanova - all

Bonfire - Point Blank & Fireworks maybe some others

    Fate - Scratch And Sniff

    Quade

    Julliet

    Topaz

that is a few that I know of .... I am sure most are listed somewhere on this thread but here they are again ..........

  3. This one is going to be huge!! I saw them live about 3 weeks ago and they played a new song called "Rock and a hard Place", which you could call an instant classic as it got the crowd going crazy within seconds!

I agree this album is going to there best from nit bits I have listened to.........

Got a note from Laney a few days ago and he said the studio part is done and he said it is going to be AWESOME..... A March release is possible............... :guitbannana:

  4. Who has gotten this here in the states and which online vendor did you buy it from?

    I know Amazon.com has it.

NEH has it to but it's way to expensive at $20.99 IMO.

Typical WASP one of there best releases to date . Wish there were more tunes on it though !! Suppose to be another best of release in 2010 and have several new tracks we see I guess.............

  5. I haven't heard/seen anything at all about this in Australia. But I'm interested based on some commentry here.

I think you might enjoy the movie Geoff, but I dunno if Anvil's tunes would be quite yo'thang.

As for the new album, haven't heard it yet but I'm workin' on it...

Yeah, I also doubt the music will be for me, but super interested in the film for sure. :) Any Aussies know if this is out in Australia?

I agree you'd like the movie Cousin but not the bands music.

It's probably a little to metal for you kind of like Maiden meets Motorhead and I don't see that being your thing at all.

Movie is funny as hell the music well I will leave it at that ..............

  6. Got this in the mail yesterday and gave it a full spin last night. Very nice melodic hard rock aiming for that Def Leppard type sound. Definitely in the vein of Wildstreet like Geoff said. Sure, they faltered on a couple songs but there's plenty of cool anthems to make up for it. Don't let the lame album cover fool you folks. If you like the verse, big bridge, and even bigger chorus (and who doesn't), this band will more than fit the bill. And I love the spelling of the track 'Sheik Iddup'. Classic.

Top 5 releases of 2009 !! Thanks AOR HEAVEN for the killer release!!!

  7. Dude, you really need to lighten up when it comes to rock lyrics. You do realise you're on a "hair metal" / glam / AOR forum, don't you? If you're looking for high calibre lyrics not sure you're in the right place. ;) Everytime you make a comment like that it discounts about 1,000 other bands here.

Was unaware of this. As I am only here to promote my company, answer a few insane questions.... and disagree with your responses 99.95% of the time. :P

Looking forward to this CD !

  8. Actually when I fist heard them I thought they were classic sleaze band (that never made it), the Sea hags!

Nice to see a band still doing good old fashioned sleaze in the 2009s!

    Tc

Excellent Find!! Awesome sleaze from New York City , not much sleaze coming from the New York area these days , but damn good to see though............

  9. This one is going to be huge!! I saw them live about 3 weeks ago and they played a new song called "Rock and a hard Place", which you could call an instant classic as it got the crowd going crazy within seconds!

  10. I got mine from NEH on Wednesday........great stuff!!

Just recieved mine as well , like I said well worth the wait ........... Charlotte that is going to be another fine release !!! Stephen is a great guy he works hard for all the collectors out there . I know Jack Adams thanks him and so should all of us !!!

I wonder in 25 years will Sgt Roxx -Weapon Of Miss Distraction bring $500 :headbanger:

I wonder in 25 years if any of our CDs will still play or become a victim of CD Rot?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disc_rot

Time Warp label already has that on some discs I own but that is another thing I guess???!?!?!?!?!?!

  11. Yep!

I went to BERMUDA on my honeymoon. I found a record store on the little island (Forgot The Name of the place).

I noticed they had both FLIES ON FIRE c.d.'s for (I think it was a u.s. price tag that said $30.00 each).

I laughed because I got both for $10.00 at a now defunct store called CALDOR.

I ended up getting BILLY SQUIRE-TALE OF THE TAPE for $10.00..

I didn't have time, as I was doing other things  plus there weren't any CD stores on The Maldives or in Sri Lanka ;)

I found time because I tagged out with the Captain of the ship...

I did ,my wife loves to go to pawn shops with me but it was to damn long ago to remember what I snagged though..........

  12. Is there any Nascar fans out ther in metal land ??? I have been watching Nascar about as long as I have been collecting CD's and to me it is getting to be a joke . Talladega was a joke I paid $300 bucks to watch guys drive around a track . Hell I could have did that on the freeway for free . Just looks like to me that the governing body of Nascar has to many rules . You can't bump draft you are racing to hard at the begining of the race and so on ......... It just pisses me off that it is turning to this . Hell racing sucks and my Oakland Raiders look like crap at least the Yankees WON.............

  13. Really looking forward to hearing the end result of this one. 'It's A Jungle Out There' is also being re-issued at the same time, which is also cool, as I don't own it.

:yikes: a cd i own (from the 80s), which Jez doesnt!

    LOL.

awesome new CD !! YO DAN any word on the reissue of Lofcaudio ??? I have heard nothing but you think they would since the reissued Its A Jungle Out There....... Brilliant Band.........

  14. I got mine from NEH on Wednesday........great stuff!!

  15. i was just thinking the same thing yesterday.

with demondoll and eonian bringing out some great discs in the past few months, it does seem suncity has gone very quiet.

Usually they update there site maybe every 2 - 3 months but seems like something could be wrong. I contacted a few a guy from the band X-Piracy and his band has signed to Suncity and he was the one that told me they had fire that caused damaged to there location in Australia...... I knew there were some dudes from Australia on this board and just wanted to know exactly what is up . I have emailed David several times in the months past and he always responded very quickly to my emails ....... Like I said they have Pricillia and X-Piracy on there slate next but the dudes from Pricillia said there disc should be released in the winter 2010..

  16. I was wondering what happened to Suncity Records , I see there site is there but has not been updated since Febuary . I heard that the fires from the past winter affected them . Is there any truth to this ?? I knew that they have signed bands like Pricillia and X-Piracy . Hope all is well with David and his family..... Maybe there is a old thread I have missed not sure give me something..............

  17. Always loved TEN. Discovered them back in about 1997 when NAME OF THE ROSE was first released and subsequently purchased all of their albums (and most of the Gary Hughes off-shoots).

Some are better than others, obviously, but I dig their style and I'm hoping for a new CD one of the these days soon.

    Any word? Thanks!

Last TEN album was the Twilight Chronicles in 2006 since that release Gary is been really busy with a solo career and in 2007 he released Veritas. I am sure he will be back in 2010 with a new solo album or even a new TEN .....

  18. What the hell is this? I love "Honest Planet" and this has me beyond curious!

    http://www.impulsemusic.com/catalog/detail.asp?id=12033

Good question !! A new CD ? A track list would be really nice to have .....

I mentioned this over the weekend in the ST. Warren thread and it looks like it's legit but don't know much else.

They are official reissues from the same label that is releasing the Tora Tora and Hawk CD's ..

  19. what awesome info!

Wonder if a Za Za reunion is ever possible!

    :beerbang:

NO ! But he has been telling me there might be a live one ! He is so busy with other projects he really does not think to much about Za Za unless I bring it up . The show is cheesy but they show him bashing the drums quite often ...HE LOVES IT AND IS VERY HAPPY !! HE DESERVES IT !!!
