I love all the first three Britny albums, but Bite down hard IMO was easily their best work,in fact I think I might just put that in the CD player now!
Already played two Joe Lynn Turner albums today,Nothing's changed & Slam!
-
Just remembered today that two of the best cheap(ish) purchases I made were Poison-Swallow this live & Joe Lynn Turner-Slam.
I picked both up fairly cheap (the Poison was second hand, but the JLT was new) and when I got them home I found they had been signed.
The JLT one was signed by Joe obviously & the Poison one was signed by Bret!
Something tells me the shops I bought them in hadnt actually realised they were signed items!

Listening to Kid Rock-Cocky at this very moment!
-
Mine would go something like this:
Vocals:Jani Lane
Guitar:C.C. Deville
Guitar:Steve Stevens
Bass:Chip Z'Nuff
Drums:Tommy Lee
Now that would be one wild glam jam band!
-
Listening to todays purchase,Status Quo-Riffs!
-
Back on the subject, two CDs in my stereo right now:
Slik Toxik-Irrelevant
Skid Row-Thickskin
-
Mr. Hate - Fragments (WOW! Had never heard of these guys, and snagged it offa eBay for $5 just for the hell of it...and I'm glad I did. Excellent hard rock from these German guys, with influences ranging from Tesla & Dokken to Shotgun Messiah and Crue.Lead singer sounds like Marq Torien AT TIMES,but actually has a pretty unique voice. Good stuff!)
OMG..........you are SO right!!! I'm so glad I listen to you!!!
Got my Mr. Hate today....I LOVE this guys voice!!!
Some of it's a little harder / heavier than my usual tastes.....but overall it's GREAT stuff!!!!
thanks!
Looks like this album is doing good business right now,I won a bid on a copy last night.
There was about 6 or 7 other CDs as well,so I'm looking forward to this package!
-

This baby has me UP and moving!!!
Any recommendations for wrapping Christmas presents, now???
Well now ya got KOTH,ya gotta try some Dan Reed Network.......not quite as rocky but still some great funk orientated rock!
-
Oh & currently listening to Mark Free-Long way to love!
-
Supposedly they are leading the current charge of "classic rock" inspired bands!
Personally I dont mind Jet being included, but The Darkness are fucking terrible!
Yeah I will admit the usual suspects like Paranoid & Ace of spades are present, but its nice seeing more unusual choice like Piledrive,Heaven or hell & Unskinny bop!
-

I was gonna say it couldnt be Tyketto as they had split before Dirty Deeds came about!
I saw DD support Maiden & Helloween & I loved them!
-
I must admit I'm more partial to The Heat than the first two albums but all the albums are great!
Shame that Adrenalin Sky wasnt so hot!
-
I remember when the Kingofthehill album came out there was a lot of coverage over here in the rock music press like they were the second coming, but I usually end up avoiding anything that hyped!
I finally bought the album on the cheap years later & loved it but it was nowhere near as great as the initial press coverage said so I probably wouldnt have liked it as much if I'd bought it back then!
By buying it years later I was able to listen to it without any expectations & was able to enjoy it for what it was,a damn good rock record!
-
Heh,thats three of us who have put Von Groove-Once is not enough,on our recent compilations!
-
Listening to TotalRock radio again & currently playing is Back in black.........I dont think I need to list the artist here!
-
WHO THE FUCK HAS SENT ME - KELLIE (IE Not Y) SNOW money??????? Post your damn names NOW so there is documentation of the Slander.
Can I just point out that slander is spoken, its libel if it written!
-
To be honest with you,I only became friends with Danny last year so I dont really know much about Brooke or any of the other band members but I do know a few good stories involving other bands.
I do seem to remember one member went on to a band called Lion,or Lionheart!
Heres one story I can share with ya thats kinda interesting.
When Skid Row were first looking for a vocalist Danny applied for the job but both he & the band thought his style didnt fit the music.
When Danny later heard Seb Bach sing with the band he knew the right choice had been made!
-
Just noticed your Tyketto avatar,I put together a CD full of rock MPEG videos last week & I used that pic as the menu picture!
Just reminded me,I must send Danny an email,I keep forgetting!
Tell him I said "HEY!!!"
(as if he would know who I was!! LOL!!!! )
As for what's spinning tonight.......it's CAGE - F-Y-CO
but actually only tracks 7, 8 and 9..... the rest of it hasn't grown on me yet!!
Just thought I'd make ya a lil more jealous by printing his reply:
CC,
Yeah, last year we were part drinking partners, part philosophers, part bodyguards, and all fireplace filler!
Thanks for the good wishes. I hope that you and your family have a wonderful holiday and I hope we'll see you when I'm over in March.
Happy Christmas,
Danny
Looks like I'm gonna drink him under the table again,he's such a lightweight!

I was just surprised to hear it on The Sting, its one of their most overlooked songs!
Been on a bit of a WASP buying spree recently, dunno why, this stuff just seemed to pop at once.
All I gotta do now is pick up Electric Circus & Live in the raw on CD plus the new Dying for the world album!
-
Change of plan, just checked the post & found my copy of WASP-The sting, has arrived!
......been a while since I heard Sleeping in the fire..........cool!
What's a spinnin' in your CD player?
