  1. So, Tellus is the only planet in the galaxy where there's jizzing going on. The jizzing mechanism started long ago in the sea/water. In the eukaryotic fossil record, sexual reproduction first appeared about 2.0 billion years ago in the Proterozoic Eon, although a later date, 1.2 billion years ago, has also been presented. Nonetheless, all sexually reproducing eukaryotic organisms likely derive from a single-celled common ancestor. Who or what jizzed and made that ancestor? Fuark it, I don't get it.

  2. Rainbow’s final studio album in the 80’s, ”Bent Out Of Shape” (1983), was also their last one with Joe Lynn Turner (ex. Fandango) as the lead vocalist. He did an impeccable job with his high tenor voice on this more keyboard oriented, commercial or AOR sounding release that also featured its fair share of straight ahead, uptempo, melodic hard rockers. As a very selective (and sometimes hard to work with) guitarist, songwriter and band leader, it was obvious that Blackmore had found an almost perfect co-writing partner and top class singer in Turner. However, at the very brink of breaking through on a big scale with Rainbow, he just couldn’t resist or refuse the temptation to join Gillan, Glover, Paice and Lord in the reformed Deep Purple Mk II, where he would spend the following ten (somewhat turbulent) years. Finally, when it comes to ”Bent Out Of Shape”, Foreigner seems to have been an inspiration as for how some songs were constructed and performed, however, clearly with Blackmore’s special guitar playing touch and style throughout. 3. Oh, God. My ears are jizzing in faptastic vintage Pomp Rock stereo. ; )

Chicago based Pomp Rock band Trillion took a step forward musically, with their highly praised second outing ”Clear Approach” from 1980. In many ways, they hit a kind of sweet spot with this sophomore John Boylan-produced release, where the song material was a bit more mature, refined and to some degree, approachable. The icing on the cake though, was perhaps top lead singer Thom Griffin, who did a truly great job as the replacement for original vocalist Dennis ”Fergie” Frederiksen, who had been asked to leave or left the group some time prior to the recording of ”Clear Approach”. Nowadays, when going back and listening to the album in its entirety, I’d say that it’s still a very classy affair, where the band’s initial progressive rock tendencies blended perfectly well with their more commercially oriented and sophisticated, AORish side. The sublime guitar and keyboard/piano interplay between Frank Barbalace and Pat Leonard also needs to be mentioned here, as it obviously was of great importance and played a big role to the band’s overall sound.
