Major N. A - "Angel"
Awesome track, Paulo hooked me up with this one way back

Finally a thread on Foxy Shazam, I'll be the first to admit it: It's great stuff, but then again I dig The Darkness and The Ark as well.
Here's a couple more video's:
Bring on all your 'cause a lot of you probably hate this kinda stuff.

I agree that "Wig Wamania" is their best album. This 30 second bit sounds like classic Wig Wam, expectations are now set to maximum

Crazy D Nasty (Belgium/France)
A band in the vein of Nevada Beach, Britny Fox etc
Great stuff, "Booze n Blues" is there a cd out?

The press here in Denmark are raving about Volbeat taking first place on this chart on Monday.
http://www.americasmusiccharts.com/index.cgi?fmt=R2
Don't know exactly what this means? They're the first Danish band to ever do so, so I guess it's kinda cool.
Here's the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu4emT6btH4
Far from their best, it's dedicated to Danish boxer Mikkel Kessler.

Yeah, these guys aren't bad. Reminds me of All American Rejects, they have the CD at aorheaven as well.
"My Mom Hates Me" was recorded by Steadlür as well, not sure what the connection is though?

I guess it's a form of therapy for the parents in the process of moving on, not pleasent to look at, but if it helps them through their grief, I suppose it's alright.

The album was mastered in Copenhagen, Danny Rexon wrote this on FB:
Masteringskillen (äldre gråhårig man med 25 års masteringserfarenhet): "Kaenner du til den der album med Mötley Crue som Bob Rock han va med og gjårde?"
Jag: "Dr Feelgood?"
Masteringskillen: "Ja, den her album den låder som den der Dr Feelgood syns jeg."
Translated:
Greyhaired mastering dude with 25 years of experience: "Do you know that Mötley Crüe record Bob Rock was involved in?"
Danny Rexon: "Dr. Feelgood"?
Matering Guy: "Yeah, this album sounds like Dr. Feelgood, I think."

New The Darkness track and video here:
I know some here couldn't care less (that means you Geoff ), but I'm a fan, and can't wait for a new album.
When are we gonna discuss Foxy Shazam here? That should be some good fun!

The vocal is more harsh than it used to be, but I'm fine with it.
and the music really kicks some balls, put back 'metal' into hair metal, nice attitude, lookin' good
is this gonna be a new album with a whole lot of new songs, anyone knows ?

These are all new recordings with various guest guitarists.
Odd choice to re-record so many songs from the debut,
I'm missing tracks like "People they Change" and "Another man's Gun", tracks that are only available in a pour quality, I'm perfectly happy with the debut album as it is.

Here it is: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/what-comes-around-goes-around/id500740536
The physical CD should be out in march.

Big thanx to Kim for this one.
Great song, sounds like H.E.A.T. is staying on familiar territory, despite the new vocalist.
I highly doubt the new album will be better than Freedom Rock though, that's a pretty impossible task imo.

Guys - PM me your e-mails and I'll hook you up with the complete song
PM sent :-)

Why can't I find this on iTunes

we're not keen on the modern names that seem like they're trying too hard to be different.
I kind of agree with that, mate. Being unique is kind of cool, but I also don't think that giving your kid some ridiculous name that he is stuck with for the rest of his life is cool. It's a fine line, I guess.
I can't vote on this at all to be honest, because in the end it's up to you and your wife to make the choice and should be up to you two alone. Good luck with it, and congrats and best wishes!
We're looking for an unique name, that's not too wierd, nearly all the names I've listed meet those demands.
I checked out the names of Jamie Oliver's kids, wtf
Thanks Geoff. I started this topic to see what names were the most popular, among a wide selection of people. Naturally we can't ask friends and families, 'cause it would ruin the surprise.
Anyway, still hoping more people will drop by and place their vote.

Looking for a little bit of help here.
My wife and I are expecting the arrival of our second son this spring.
So the last couple of weeks we've been talking about what we should name the baby.
We've narrowed it down to these nine names, but can't decide/agree on which one is the best.
Our first born is named Marlon.
So please place your vote, should be exciting to see if there's a clear winner here.
My 2 boy are Logan-6 & Hunter-4. The wife and I did not want names that have been used to death( John, Mike etc)so some names on your list I didn't even give a second thought to,(Henry, Jamie etc).
Logan and Hunter are great names, we've actually considered Logan, but think the pronunciation in Dansih will mess it up.
Keep in mind that names like Henry, Jamie, and Charlie are not that common here.

What's your surname ? His first name needs to suit it ......
My full name is Kristian Døj Hjøllund

"People they Change" and "Another Man's Gun" are two of my favourite Tuff tracks. I wish they were recorded/produced in a better quality.
What's this talk of a new album called "What Comes Around Goes Around... Again"?
Are we talking re-recordings or new songs?
-
"Love Bomb Baby" and "Murderess" are by far their best tracks. I didn't care much for Bezerk 2.0

Lady Moon - AXXIS

Supercharger - Are You Satisfied

Two new excellent Danish bands

This new project from Kenny Lübcke (Narita, Zoser Mez, Royal Hunt etc.) sounds interesting.
