Funny thing that this is brought back up as been playing 2018s Wreckfest game again the last few weeks and forgot these guys and One Desire both have two songs on the soundtrack, and it reminded me I still have not picked up their last album.
Unsurprisingly the game developers are Finnish.
For those who use Spotify, this is the game soundtrack
Yeah, I've played that game quite a bit in the past as well, remember the soundtrack got some harsh words in the reviews I read, I guess the writers weren't too familiar with the Finnish hard rock scene

I've completely fallen in love with this track from Dragonforce singer Marc Hudsons' solo album from last year.
Soooo melodic, wow.
The whole album is great btw.

I never got to see Reckless Love live, but I did see Crashdïet when Olli sang for them, it was a great concert, I don't think Olli was a good match for them on record, but live he was on top of it :-)

What a find on that Dominum album!
Heard it through a couple of times today, excellent stuff "Cannibal Corpses" and "Better Shoot yourself" are my early favorites.

0 out of 5 correct, sorry.
Bummer, thought it would be cool if you had 3 Danish acts in your top 5, wishful thinking I guess :-)

2. Boys from Heaven - The Descendant
3. Hugo's Voyage - Inception
4. Mercenary - Soundtrack for the End Times
5. Ronnie Atkins - Trinity

I still think my list is better... musically.
I've never seen Poison live. I'm not sure, but I don't think they have toured in Europe since their heyday, haven't ever seen them billed at any Euro-festivals either.

Green Day are so shit these days that they have to rip off pink. Man they have fallen away. What a crap band they are now.
American Idiot and 21st Century Beakdown, are magnificent albums imo, Revolution Radio had its moments, but apart from a few songs here and there, the rest of their catalog is kind of bland.

1-10 are predictable as all get out but yeah, I'm happy to see bands like Diving For Pearls, Dare, FM, and Aviator get their due.
But damn it, am I the only person who likes the second Storm album more than the debut?
I also prefer "Eye of the Storm" over the debut.
I also think the second FM album, is better than the debut.

As I mentioned, I have a lot to catch up on, but my top 5 so far looks something like this:
From Ashes to New - Blackout
Ronnie Atkins - Trinity
Boys from Heaven - The Descendant
Enforcer - Nostalgia
Temple Balls - Avalanche

That surprises me.
Me too, Don't Come Easy is among my favorite albums of all time, absolutely amazing piece of work imo.

Hey
We have a nice thread for highlighting good cover versions :-)
-
I remember when they first came out in the mid-nineties, they were a part of a wave of death metal bands coming out of the west part of Denmark, alongside bands like Illdisposed, Hatesphere, Sacrificial and Infernal Torment. They have been through a lot of line up changes since then.
I haven't paid much attention to them, although I knew they had incorporated some clean vocals into their sound at one point, but this above sounds really good.

lol, no idea. Who is it?
Pyn Siren, do you still spin that disc every now and then?
I remember liking it when it came out, but I don't think I've listened to it since then, can't recall any songs from it.

No idea what this one is either. Hints?
A one and done band from the U.S.

Very nice indeed, Nicklas Sonne from Defecto on vocals, wonder if he's the main singer for this project, or just this single. For obvoius reasons, I couldn't find any info on them when googling "in the 80's"

Here's another one, actually positive this time, but still hilarious.
From: Geoff Date: December 7, 2004 at 4:16 Check your balls at the door before you step inside to listen to this one... because if you go in balls and all this is just going to rip 'em right out of that flimsy sack that held them inside for so long. Sorry ladies - but consider yourself relatively lucky and safe when listening to this CD. I don't use this term ever, but this is 'in-your-face' heavy rock and f*cking excellent at that. If you like your rock very hard, you'll love this one. Great CD, two huge thumbs up! -

lol, what on earth is that for? What does he mean by “sheep herding music?” And what is the “beep” thing all about? Help me make sense of this! 😉
Here's your original comments without the "beep's".
From: Geoff Date: September 9, 2005 at 1:43 I can't say I've ever put a sharp object in my ass, but I predict it would feel very similar to the sensation of listening to this album. I quite like DAD, but this is horrible sheep herding music. Absolute crap. Must admit that 'It's after dark' is a very nice AOR ballad with some nice keys - and no, I'm not kidding. Surprised the crap out of me too. Overall though, a disaster of an album. -
