I enjoy all his solo albums, even his two most recent releases

Mike Tramp - Capricorn, Recovering the Wasted Years
Nice, his two best solo discs.

Just heard the new album today, apart from "Symphony of Avalon", it didn't do much for me.

Good song, not among his best, but solid for sure.

They're on the "Brutal Metal" database.
People keep forgetting about Brutal Metal. It's an essential part of HH..
Yeah, I actually didn't know they were in the brutal metal database.
Some artists are listed in both databases though, so I guess being in one database doesn't rule out being in the other?

I'm surprised that Volbeat aren't on the site.

New single from Danish rockers Black Oak County, no release date of a full album yet though.

Dang, I dig that. I had no idea they were still active.
I never considered they were not active?
The Phantom Tomorrow (awesome album, if you haven't heard it, you are in for a treat!), came out in 2021, so was kind of expecting something new to arrive in the near future, "Bleeders" sounds good :-)

I think it sucks, a lot!

So as I've mentioned before, I'm in a period where I get to churn through a huge amount of albums that I've accumulated over the last few years and have banked up due to me being pretty busy.
Been traveling a lot, and when I'm home, I've been walking to work and back (40 mins each way) so have had heaps of time to get through the music. So I've made it through over 50 albums in the last 6 months, and now I have only 9 left in my spotify.
They are the ones I've put off as they are take a lot of listen to get into and include Revolution Saints, Jeff Scott Soto, Iron Maiden and Asking Alexandria (not sure why that one is on my list)
So today I put Maiden on. Book Of Souls.
I've moved away from Maiden for years now, last great album was Somewhere In Time for me, after that they got boring.
So I'm listening to Book Of Sould for the second time, and jesus, not sure what happened to them.
Are they classed as prog now? They sound like it.Only ones that have provided any hope of being any good are Tears Of A Clown, Elpire Of The Coulds, and Shadows Of The Valley (which has hope only really because of teh Wasted Years vibe)
So wondering if they have gradually been changing, and I'm dropping back in to a prog Maiden, or maybe they just don't wrioote hooky, melodic, catchy songs any more?"The Red and the Black" is phenomenal.

R.I.P.
Love those first two albums.
I always wondered why their third album and even Good Acoustics was released on a major label, when all other hair bands were dumped from the big labels by that time.
Did he ever do anything outside of Firehouse?

Glad I got to see them with Erik in front.
All the best to him, definitely looking forward to his future outings when he is fully recovered.
Would be cool to see him form his own band, where he could take control, and play around in different genres, from full on metal, to soothing AOR, the guy is so versatile.

Not on par with the best songs off the last record, but a solid tune anyway, anticipating the album like crazy, is there a release date yet?
-
New single "Victorious" will be released March 26th, Yay

Great album, sounding more and more like Dynazty, but I'm not one to complain about that at all.

New single "The Animal" dropped today, not bad at all:

John says he is still in Confess as well.
This was posted on the Confess FB page about an hour ago:TO CLARIFY SOME STUFF!
Yes, i've joined forces with Crashdiet, which feels very exciting indeed. With that being said, I’m still very much a part of confess.
Confess is my high school Rock'n roll band that i sang in for the past 15 years and i have no intentions of leaving or changing that.
We're currently working on new music and hopefully have something new to show you guys pretty soon.
// John ElliotGood news, I really like Confess :-)
