Damn I really want to know what this song is now. Might have to be a cold case for now.

This one's on the main site. Checking out samples now but some good reviews to be found. Aussie (WA) band.

Welcome mate.

Welcome Alicia.

Kristian did I ever send you the mp3's? I can't remember.

Some ya'll talking bout US band, others AUS band.

Are you sure it was "through the heart" and not "to the heart" ?
I immediately thought of this great song from the debut China album:
-
Is it just me, or "back in the day" could you basically instantly identify a christian band by the fact that someone in the band, if not all of them, had a mustache? It's why I always thought China Sky were a christian band.
But seriously check it out. So many christian bands from the 80's had a dude/s with a mustache, when very few to none of the proper bands had guys with mustaches.
? so true! It's an awkward album cover that's for sure.

Vinyl and cassette only. You can find a little write up + restored vinyl d/l here at the best blog ever:

Terrible band name. Didn't bother with the last one but mught give this a listen based on some of what I read.
-
Spell it rite!
-
Leykis did you write this?

Always had time for UKJ. A good fun band!
-
Not the band I thought of. These guys are a bit bluesy from memory.

I can't make a top 10, but here are (in no particular order) some albums I consider to be perfect, albums I'd imagine I could put on repeat for the rest of my life, without ever growing tired of.
Skid Row - s/tGuns n Roses - Appetite for DestructionDef Leppard - HysteriaMötley Crüe - Dr. FeelgoodBowling for Soup - Drunk Enough To Dance
Bowling for Soup - A Hangover you don't DeserveGreen Day - American Idiot
Green Day - 21st Century BreakdownMy Chemical Romance - Welcome to the Black ParadeFm - Tough it OutHeat - Freedom RockTyketto - Don't Come EasySaints n Sinnerss - s/tBon jovi - New JerseySteelheart - s/tSlamer - Nowhere LandGreenhouze - s/t
Quireboys - This is Rock n Roll
Hinder - Take it to the Limit
Hinder - Extreme Behavior
The Last Vegas - Whatever Gets You Off
Crazy Lixx - New Religion
Maverick - Quid Pro Quo
Gotthard - Dial Hard
Airbourne - No Guts No Glory
Red Dogs - Working Late
Dynazty - Renatus
Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds - s/t
Backyard Babies - People Like People Like People Like Us
Pretty Boy Floyd - Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz
Cool list Kristian. Hugely different to mine but I can appreciate different tastes. One that caught my eye though was Greenhouze s/t. I do remember it vaguely. It was on MTM around 10 years ago right? Is it worth re-exploring? Any track recommendations?

I'm gonna puck this one up based on the cover alone...looks like something I'd enjoy! ? Dan I couldn't agree with you more about the chainsaw integration...it really is a little disjointed.

I do love browsing the vinyl section at record stores - always exciting to see what cam be found. I love the big album covers and the sound but they are just so inconvenient and expensive. Still pick up the odd rarity and I like 7" singles with picture sleeves as well, but if it's on CD that's what I prefer.
-
Nice! It's always cool when you find nostalgic things like this. I probably wouldn't risk sending my cash to them in the hope of getting a baseball jersey though ?
-
Ha nice! I was actually listening to BLG this afternoon...how strange! Excellent band ☺
-
True that.Definitely not what I was expecting when I saw the band
There. Fixed.
-
Refreshing stuff. I love it. Definitely not what I was expecting when I saw the band name. Really looking forward to hearing more.
-
Yeah this one isn't bad. No major highlights for me but a good solid british AOR disc and not too different from the Passion Street album that Maarten mentioned. I'd probably rate Passion Street over this one though. Strangely this album was reissued a few years back by Yesterock...just seemed like a strange choice for a reissue.

I would have loved to include Def Leppard but not Hysteria. It's a brilliant album but for me I'm going to be controversial and say that Retro Active is their best album. It's not perfect but contains a bunch of absolute killers.
None of them better than "Fractured Love", in my opinion. My favorite Leppard song.
Mine too! Pure brilliance. I really like Desert Song as well.

CTS...sorry mate but I tend to bot be into a lot of your choices but interesting read anyway.
haha, no problems there.
From your list Harem Scarem and Skid Row would be the two that would be in my top 20 probably. In fact Harem Scarem was really hard to leave out of my 10.
The rest of it was too AOR for me.
Having said that, the Joey Tempest and Butch Walker albums on my list are very AOR, so go figure.
Andy Taylor and Hot Action Cop are probably albums which most here wouldn't have heard.
At the time Andy Taylor's Thunder came out it was very cool for me.
Don't even know how I ended up with it, but it was great hard rock.

He followed up with a covers album where most of the songs were better than the originals for me, which is hard to do.
Especially Live Wire... (most will probably disagree, bit I'm not a big fan of AC/DC stuff after Bon)
Nice, I'd heard of Andy Taylor but hadn't actually heard any songs. Will check that one out further. Re Hot Action Cop, I've never heard of it but certainly intrigued now. Gonna check out Youtube. Loud & Clear I have to agree is awesome.
