  1. Quick Update on Guitarist and Song Writing!

Song writing is proceeding as planned and going very well indeed. We are quite sure some of the new stuff will turn some heads... Up and down, in a good way! A quick explanation would be, a little back to the darker "Afterlife" days mixed with some trademark NR catchy melodies - those that can never go wrong!

On the guitarist front - the search has not ended, but we have a few very interesting candidates now, that sound out of this world...So just some logistics and then we'll jam and see where that leads us... We'll let you all know once WE know...

  2. Sneaky fuckers.

It was my wife's birthday yesterday and she loves this place over here called 'Ribs and Rumps'. So we took her out there for dinner. Had a wild feast! Get an email today from Ribs and Rumps (we have a frequent diners card) wishing her a happy birthday, and it says if we come and celebrate her birthday there we'll get a free bottle of wine. And I'm all like, what the fuck? You do realise the birthday was fucking yesterday, don't you? You sneaky motherfuckers. Yeah, thanks a fucking bunch.

    :rofl2:

    Those rotten fuckers!!

  3. Has anyone ever heard of the band GRANIT? Just checked out their new self-titled disc and it is pretty awesome. It's been getting constant spins in my cd player (along with High Noon).

I can't find much info on them though. I did find this page:

  4. I just don't get reuniting and then releasing material that's nothing like what you originally sounded like. Perhaps this change in direction is what caused Ron to bail. Seems rather strange that he bailed right after the reunion tour. Not saying that his vocals what have made much of a difference on "Water's Rising" though. I just don't think the songs were strong enough. And I am a HUGE fan of the bands material up to the new stuff. I think "Psychoschizophrenia" was there strongest album. It's a damn shame grunge had to come along and kill them!

I will still check out the new disc. I might even like it better than "Water's Rising". I don't think they will ever go back to the "Love + War" era sound.

  5. Kickstart My Heart is NOT about drugs..... it's about racing.

heh heh, shea, if you believe the music video :P

the band also said "You're All I Need" was a true story :P

Vince was huge on racing around that time and I'm pretty sure that's where the song and video came from.
