Dan & Mike: Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I need to agree with you, all clues show me that I will be rip off, as well all members that dealed with this liar, some day called "friend". I would like to believe I am wrong, but it´s almost impossible...I gave him a few days to send me some papers but he didn´t send nothing. He should have the receipt of the package, and also the papers of the insurance that he said he made. It was a week ago...Probably because there is no package. I can´t believe in someone that doesn´t accomplish what he promised. And he didn´t lie only once... I will provide Lonnie a serious complaint wherever I can from here, I can´t go to the US now (I wish I could), so please keep me informed about all the options I have. I will ask to a brasilian lawyer (post graduated in Washington) to help me, I have many difficulties especially with the thecnical law therms (as a lawyer, I know only the brasilian legislation), my english is not the best, I am not able to make those things right. Otherwise, do you think if I persist contacting Paypal I will get any kind of refund based on buyers protection program? all the best Adriano

From Paypal: "We have completed our investigation of this case. We attempted to process a refund from the seller's account to your account. Unfortunately, the seller's account does not contain the funds necessary to cover this refund. We were able to recover $0.00 USD. We have taken action against the seller and are working to recover the remainder of your refund. We will contact you when we have more information. No further action is required of you at this time." I am still waiting for Lonnie´s proofs... Does anybody trust I will receive the cds or any money? Any advice?

Tony, I would like to hear your opinion about Lonnie´s email. He told me the same thing, I am not sure if I should believe or not. I was contacting him during the weekend, but he stoped to reply my emails. I just asked him to send me any proof, he only provided me a wrong tracking number from another package. He also made an insurance of $1,200 for the same package, I also asked him to send me the receipt via email. Again, he didn´t send me anything. He would try to help me to certify about the whole history, IF he is telling the truth. I totally agree with you, the communication is VERY important. But he didn´t gave me the tracking number, or the receipt of the insurance, anything...is it not a case to suspect? Am I wrong? Of course if I receive the package I will close the dispute on Paypal, I NEVER think to take the cds and the money, I always choose for the right way. You know me. Seems like he was trying to say that I would like to get the package with 8 cds, and the refund from Paypal...he was really confused... Almost one month from the date that he said he sent package (jan, 19), and any notice, no proof, anything. Hi Just a quick update to inform you that the only thing I received from Lonnie was a (wrong) tracking number of a package including one Casanova cd that I won from him/David (?) on ebay a few weeks ago, before the scandal. I opened a complaint through Paypal about this cd and closed the case as I promised after I received it last week. Now I have "only" 2 complaints against him... I asked him the right tracking number of the package with the cds that I bought from him (almost $1,000.00) and the reply was an "I have many things to resolve, wait your time"..."you can wait for your package, it will arrive any day"..."I will send you all papers/proofs". He also promised me the refund for the 3 Hurricane cds that I pre-ordered during the weekend, and guess what? nothing...He said me that he is paying who pre-ordered the Hurricane cds from his own pockets, and that he never gave me any reason to doubt about his words or honesty...asked me at least the benefit of doubt...actually I was giving him...but now I am despaired...liar! all the best Adriano

Hi again I will be giving to Lonnie the benefit of doubt about my case (only), I said him/David by email. If I receive the package with all cds that we agreed, I will post here a message, and will close the dispute through Paypal. I really hope now he is telling the truth, at least at this moment. Many of you know me, I don´t have any interest in receive the cds and the money back. It´s not right. I will also wait for the refund for the Hurricance cds. I want to thank you all my friends here that were trying to help me, specially Tony "Koogles", I think he gave a good idea for future discussions, to Dan, Jim, Michael, Paulo, Jarred & other friends. Dan & all other friends: Of course I will keep you infomed. I e-mailed now David (or Lonnie) and asked him a simple explanation. I want to see if I will get any reply. I pre-ordered the Hurricane cds, I would be asking him at least ten copies of each Hurricane cd, fortunately I didn´t pay for them. I also purchased a small lot of rarities (8 cds) spending more than US$ 1,000. Now I am not sure if they really exist. He offered the same cd to Michael Butt, Delbert and probably to other top dealers. Yes, Mike and Danny, I Paypal him more than $1,000 for cds like Theatre, Rock Boulevard and Sgt Roxx almost 15 days ago...he didn´t told any history, just said that he was selling the rest of his collection because he would not have time to collect anymore...I also pre-ordered a few Hurricane cds... I just opened a Paypal dispute, but I´m here, in Brasil...I have a bad feeling that I will lose this money, I don´t know if Paypal will refund me, even so I have all the requisites...Could you help me, please? If anybody is near this guy, please go to the police dept. Any chance to prosecute him? I am a lawyer, but I don´t know the american law. Actually, I am very sad, extremely disappointed, I am sorry to say that, but I am seriously thinking to quit and leave the HR scene, trading/selling those top rarities...I am tired to see more and more swindlers stealing money from honest people.
