This is the most Frontiers thing ever.
1. Create a studio project featuring a legendary singer; everyone buys it because the vocals bring nostalgia
2. Replace the singer after 15 years but keep the name of the project because monies!!!!1
3. Hit up one of your in-house producers who has already written for 50 of your other studio projects
4. Get pissy with every single person that complains.

This. I remember a few decent hooks on Crossfire that were totally wasted on her piss weak vocals. She isn't really even hot. What's her appeal??
She's married to one of the Bros. That's about it.

I know, but it's not public yet. Third single in January with album announcement then. First half of 21.

Agreed. My least favourite female melodic rock artist.

Staggeringly good and the only way any form of melodic rock could ever return to the charts.

Is every member of Toto gonna release a solo album next year? It's looking like a series.

well it's better than anything on the new JSS album
Bad man! LOL

Its heavier...more Eclipse than earlier WET style. But it drips in hooks and harmonies as always.

e. 2020's been awful so it shouldn't be too out of the blue, but JSS has become very reliable with his solo work so I wasn't expecting him to be lumped in with the trash from 2020, but sadly, for me, he's well and truly in the discard pile for 2020.
But, to each their own. Happy that some of you guys accept this output, but I will not be settling for this, sadly.
This is actually the first negative comment I've heard about the album. Loving it myself.

Most of the songs 3-4 mins in length. Only 4 over 4 mins and none over 5. In other words - right to the point!

Is it just Kip and hired guns or does this include Reb and others?
Full band as per usual.

Don't see this happening so soon...Frontiers have already locked in January titles. Prob Feb also.

It seems everyone loves this project but only the debut truly blew me away. Definitely agree with you, hopefully this isn't just a polished group of Martensson demos that were lying around.
Just for the record...none of the WET albums were made from leftovers. And the new album is all fresh material again.

The band has gone heavy - apparently to try and cash in on the metal festival touring circuit in Europe.

First album bored me and this sounds equally unappealing.

I just remember importing a few copies for sale, playing Steam Train and thinking 'who the fuck am I going to sell this to??'!!!!

I played that debut album once when it first came out. I'm still recovering.

So Alessandro Del Vecchio wrote and produced the whole album... I like Jeff but surely this has potential to be another typical Frontiers release, just with JSS’s name above the door??
Maybe just a touch....but overall its fantastic. Its a snapshot of everything JSS has been over the years.

It is a joke. I can imagine a fleet of ambulances on their way to Frontiers HQ for revival duties though....hahahahaha
