Disappointed in that. Saturated in that Denander programming and pretty laid back vocal.

Denander? WTF is Goran doing with that clown?

So ADV is involved... but as the bass player!
And producer and co-writer.

Terrible choice in vocalist. Same as that Skills project. Frontiers are just finding jobs for their fellow Italians at this point.

Who knows mate. Too unstable. I just know he used just about every curse word in existence to me, emailed Robin Randall the dear lady and did the same to her....just a complete nob and someone I won't ever work with on any level under any circumstance.
And there's only a handful of people in that category!

It doesn't sound like Mecca. It sounds like Frontiers DelVecchio. But Joe and Joey sing great and there are some great tracks. And some expected filler.

well that's what I meant by a new album, new songs, you guys do know there is an unreleased track on my YT channel, I believe it was done for a 2nd album that never happened, it's kind of a soft song, so not my cup of tea,
Melodicrock, Juno has had an ongoing brutal battle on FB with Ken Tamplin, he brutalizes Ken, it's pretty hilarious, I don't know what hia problem is with Ken, but that's who he is a genuine cocksucker to, they hate each others guts, but it's been completely awesome for my entertainment.
I have no idea why he's picking on Ken either. I like Ken, I've met him and his family and he's a very positive person, although his religious dogma and hard-right views need avoiding at all costs.
Juno - I love the Roxas album and asked if he would like to get the unreleased stuff out there as I was working with the others involved. He said go ahead, I don't care about that stuff, do whatever you want. I went searching for better source material but he dropped out of contact so I didn't go any further.
Some months later I asked about him joining everyone else in approving use of a few tunes for the Randall's box set - songs which he didn't even write, just sang. Next thing I'm a motherfucker who he is going deal with should he ever see me in person. Just completely unhinged and unstable. I should try and find the old messages. Quite something!
I think he will have some trouble moving forward, as who wants to work with someone like that and such a reputation for being a prick.

He should re-record his solo album with a producer that has some cred.
No, that should be forgotten and forever buried.
-
He's spent 20 years trashing the band and everyone in it, hating on just about anyone that challenged him on that and spewing endless amounts of hate via FB about everything and every one - including threating me with physical violence for asking if he'd like to be part of the Robin Randall box set (he's the only person out of 30 that said no).
And NOW he wants new Roxas? Gimmie a fucking break. What an asshole. Don't buy this for a second. There has to be an ulterior motive.

Qtr inch masters went to Nashville Friday for baking and converting. Got the full album plus some extra unreleased tunes on them

I can't tell if this is satire or not.
It's not.

Press release with zero information about the new album, except to claim its a return to the style fans love, which is the style Mecca and Joe has never strayed from.
-
Yeah. It ain't Mecca.
Correcting lineup to include Joe Vana - both he and his son are singing.
-
Line-Up:
Joe Vana - Vocals
Joey Vana - Vocals
Sven Larsson - Guitars
Mitia Maccaferri - Bass
Alessandro Del Vecchio - Keyboards
Mirko De Maoi - Drums
Guest Musicians:
Tommy Denander, Christopher Börjars, Stefano Lionetti, Vivien Lalu, Stefano Mainini, Pete Alpenborg - Additional Keyboards
Produced by: Alessandro Del Vecchio -
Stand by for the press release and first single.

just sounds wrong. lost the whole vibe of the song imo
Yeah, it's great production and vocal as always, but it's just nice. Ghost aren't a "nice" band. They have an edge, this doesn't.
-
Should be good. Moon is on there as well as contributions from Billy Trudel.
-
Nah. Another miss. I don't need to hear this band again. I have the first 2 and that's all I need. So tired of the sound/style.

I believe we have an early contender for worst cover of the year.

I love Grand Design. My comment was in jest

I swear Pelle's voice gets higher with every release. Another couple of records and only dogs will be able to hear.

I think I will be barred from commenting on this particular topic.

The album is great! Just played it through.
*Please note this positive comment is given to an album released by the Frontiers label.

Does every fucking comment you put on HH have to be about your hate of Frontiers? We get it…you aren’t a fan…move on!
I presume you have made the same comment at anyone else who has mentioned the Royal Family in a similar light?
Consider myself admonished and sent to the naughty corner.
