  2. Not too many here talk about Blues music or older classic rock so his name may not be familiar.  West was known mostly for his Guitar work. Ive been a fan and listener to the music of Leslie West (Mountain) since the late 70s. Although Mountain wasnt around very long really West had a good solo career. I really enjoyed his Blues music. Because of his weight he did have many medical problems including Diabetes which caused him to lose part of one of his legs. R.I.P. Leslie. :(  https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/leslie-west-dead-1106777/

  3. I love talking politics. I have for years. I have no problem with people voicing their opinions, and hell no they dont have to agree with me. BUT, if your the type of person that has to call people names, dont believe others can have different opinions and troll just to start shit then just keep walking. If your not mature enough to have a normal conversation about anything without causing problems why would I and anyone else want to even talk to you? Over the years Ive met plenty like that, I ignore them and dont even answer because I know they are only looking for a fight. People like that dont have a real argument using truth. Since they dont they only attack instead of discuss.  :(

I love Minnesota otherwise (aside from the boringness of rural areas) because it's kinda nice, and the snow is pretty, but it's so cold and not expected until this month, but in October it was upsetting. Thankfully we have an Indian Summer coming before the real snow comes

Same here in Michigan. in the 70s this weekend. The snow is pretty Christmas day but Im fine with the 70s the rest of the year. ;) LOL

  5. Im suprised no one has posted about this yet. A wonderful actor and Ive read all around good man. His wife says that he had Dementia for several years so that may have been a contributing factor to his death. But he died quietly in his home in the Bahamas, at the age of 90. :( Although not my favorite I still loved his Bond movies. R.I.P. Sir Connery. :(  https://www.eonline.com/de/news/1204204/sean-connery-battled-dementia-before-death-wife-says   sean-connery-380x214.jpg

People without snow wish there was snow; people with it wish there wasn't.

Spot on young lady.  Except for a few of my years while in the Military Ive always lived where there is cold & snow every winter. I FU*KING hate winter!! The cold, the snow, the ice, the shoveling, driving in it, scraping windows.  If my job didnt pay so well I would move to someplace that doesnt have it in a heartbeat!! You have to love doing things in the snow to be anywhere near it!! ;)

I think the mainstream media collaboration on Biden's behalf has failed. People are seeing through the misdirection. Polls have been both steadily converging and wildly erratic. How can you have two different polls of the same state and one be Trump +3 and the other be Biden +17? Not only that, but polls by the same polling groups, presumably using similar methods and samples are swinging back and forth as well.

I think that polling as an industry is done. Kaput. (1) very few people have land lines any more, (2) many people do not answer unknown numbers and/or block robocalls, and (3) people in the middle and on the right do not want recrimination or retribution for saying they support Trump, so they either don't respond or respond the opposite of their real intent. I don't believe the polls accurately reflect the voting electorate any more.

Also, if you look at the pollsters who got it right in 2016 (or at least closest), Trafalgar and Rasmussen, they are both predicting a Trump win.

Biden is a potato... and a criminal. The recent audio, video, and documents from Hunter Biden's laptop prove it, and the media in lock step have refused to cover it, using "rules" that they willfully ignored when reporting Trump's leaked tax returns and secret recordings of Melania Trump. The journalistic double standard is staggering... and people are getting wise to it now. Twitter and Facebook blocking/banning the New York Post, the Senate GOP website, and the White House Press Secretary's accounts, and subsequently being called before Congress for it also play a role.

I don't know that it will be a Trump landslide, but unless the Democrats steal the election by manufacturing mail-in ballots or destroying others in battleground states, or something happens in the last 3 days, I don't see how Trump loses.

If Trump does win, the Left will continue its rioting and looting as they've been doing all year. Wal-Mart has already pulled all guns and ammo from its shelves, and stores in big cities are boarding up their windows in preparation.

If Biden wins, there won't be any violence other than the Left continuing to riot and loot "in celebration" of Orange Man gone.

The Right doesn't riot and loot. We have jobs to go to and families to support; it's not our thing.

Totally agree 1000% Dan.  They all have attacked him since before his election and he has stood tall and done his best the make America better for ALL Americans.  For me polls are just too Bias, and even as much as Id like to believe some of them I dont believe they are correct. Ive always said the left will do anything & everything they can to win. It has always amazed me that so many can stay in office being so corrupt. WHY would anyone want that. Unless they were also part of the dishonesty & corruption. Im hoping for a Trump landslide!! MAGA All the Way!!

  8. I was reading it just minutes ago too. Im sure this will be a major story. He was an icon for several generations. I knew he had been sick but I did Not know it was this bad. Was I not up to date? Has it been Very serious for a long time? What a sad sad surprise for me and so many others. You will be missed Eddie. R.I.P. Brother. :(  https://www.latimes.com/obituaries/story/2020-10-06/eddie-van-halen-guitar-dies-65

  9. Good news, the Trump rally's are going to start again soon.  But all the haters as expected are saying he cant do that, what about the virus? Oh and these are the same people that didnt mind & supported all the protests & riots.  Freaking losers.

  10. :( The first time I heard Brians voice on a Bad Company CD I had to find out who this great singer was. And Im a huge Nugent fan, what a surprise it was to find out Brian sang with him too. That was almost 20 years ago. I have been a fan of Brians music ever since. I Loved his version of BadCo. Very sad of his passing, I know he will be missed by many. R.I.P. Brian  :(

  11. Watched 1917 AND Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker both Saturday night. I thought 1917 was pretty good I love a good war movie. Loved The Rise Of Skywalker. So many surprises. With so much shutting down, so much will be delayed now. Im betting we dont see Any kind of Star Wars movie for at least 3 years. :(

  12. Bohemian Rhapsody, Ive enjoyed Queen since the mid 70s. Ive never bought a lot of their music though. Other bands Id rather pay for. My son gave the DVD to me for Christmas. I enjoyed it. Its a good story, which I already knew. But seeing it, not reading it was better. :)I probably would have eventually watched it on TV, but wouldnt have bought it. Freddie Mercury had the imagination & flair to take the band places they probably wouldnt have gone without him. Another 70/80s era band that could over fill stadiums. I can see them still being very popular today if Mercury was still alive. And I loved the version of the band with Paul Rodgers. Havent watched or heard them with Adam Lambert though. In all enjoyed the movie.
