  1. Dear Koogles, thank you for the response. The problem is that I do not have it, but I was thinking about tracking it down. It's a great album, my friend and that's why I was inquiring about an average price on it. I will go and check local used CD stores. Guess what, Koogles, a friend of mine found Sweet Teaze in one of those stores in Georgetown for $7.99, can you imagine that?
  2. Well, I'll give it another spin, although I don't think it's gona work out. Something is missing there, but I cannot figure out what. It's an O.K. album and in my opinion there's nothing outstanding in it, maybe some accoustics, but overall, there many other self releases which will easily kick S.I.'s ass. Hey Koogles, any idea on an everage price for Friction-Baby Talk?
  3. I have to agree with the fact that not a single person on HH said a bad word about this seller. This is the reason why I haven't left any feedback yet. Thanks a lot for clearing things out for me-now I am pretty sure that I will get the CD, it's just the matter of time and as we all know-patience is a vurtue. Meanwhile, I want to let everyone know that I have recently got Surrender-S/T, Friction-Baby Talk and Spiced Ice-S/T. Although these are all CD-Rs, but let me tell you something: Friction is an incredible band and Surrender has it's own unique sound which is in my opinion outstanding(Run Run Nikki). I just wish the originals were more affordable. For some reason, Spiced Ice didn't impress me at all. It is currently on e-Bay and I even thought about buying it, but I got a chance to listen to it and now I changed my mind. Anyway, thank you guys for the peace of mind. Meanwhile, I shall be enjoying Surrender and Friction and I will let everyone know about the end of the story with SHELTER-S/T. Truly yours, Ashen.
  4. Can one Seller with 100% positive feedback screw a buyer on e-bay? I was thinking a lot whether to post this new topic or not. After all , I wouldn't like to be the invocator of another verbal fight on HH, but there is something I think you should know. Does everyone pay attention to sellers' feedback before purchasing a CD on e-Bay? Has anyone ever had problems with 100% feedbacked sellers? Well, even the best can screw up-that is understandable and it is not even about the money..It's about confusion: I am very confused , because this seller has PERFECT FEEDBACK and now I will be his first "bump on the road". I won Shelter-S/T from Paradisenowproductions-a seller from Canada on December 13-04 and so far I haven't received it. Take into consideration, that I always make payments right away, not the next day, not the next week. Winning bid: US $29.00 Ended: Dec-13-04 12:05:15 PST Start time: Dec-06-04 12:05:15 PST History: 8 bids (US $6.00 starting bid) Winning bidder: ashen_light ( 57) Item location: Brampton, Ontario Canada He is in Canada and I am in the U.S. Today is January-08-05. What gives? I understand that the item might have got lost in the mail-which never ever happened to me, but this is not the issue-FORGET ABOUT THE F.......ING CD. What really ticks me off is that he ignored my three e-mail inquiries! I even called them the other day(got the number at paypal.com) and left a message, but again nobody got back to me. And one more thing:he is not an e-Bay registered user any longer. Well, let's wait till January-13. It will be exactly one month. I will let you all know about the outcome. Truly yours, Ashen.
  5. Thank you, guys!! I agree with you, Scandinavia, "Scratch'n Sniff" is a unique album and also, OI do have Raw Silk and this Greek band is awesome!!! You too, Koogles, thanks for the recommendations-I will have plenty of research to do. Denis.
  6. Ladies and gentlemen, I need your advice. I am very picky with AOR/Hard Rock and I never buy CD just because they are expensive or because of the hype. However, I feel that I purchased everything I was planning to and right now I am looking for some bands that might interest me. Just to let you know -I am currently loosing my head over: HURRICANE-All of it TREAT-Pleasure Principle ONLY!! KUNI-Looking for Action ONLY ROKO-S/T; Open Invitaiton ONLY GALAXY-S/T FATE-Scratch'n Sniff ONLY DALTON-Injection ONLY SKAGARACK-Hungry for a Game ONLY KARO-Heavy B-Day STAGE DOLLS -S/T ONLY 1. Does anyone know by any chance what other AOR/HR bands sound like FATE'S "Scratch'n Snifff", GALAXY'S self titled album? For some reason I find some similar patterns in the guitar technique and I am wondering if any other band has the same sound guitar-wise and vocal-wise . I might also add HURRICANE-"Over the Edge" here for a very original sound and production. 2. Also, SKAGARACK-"Hungry for a Game"; BLUE TEARS-S/T; BON JOVI-SWW;ROKO-S/T; Anything of the sort at all? 3. And finally: does anyone know anything about CZAKAN-"State of Confusion". wHAT DO THEY SOUND LIKE? Thank you in advance for your assistance. Denis.
  7. I can't believe I got so overwhelmed that I started bidding without even paying attention to all the "fishy" factors mentioned above!! Hell ye it's a scam!! I just did something I have never done in my life:retracted my bid. I was bidding on Surrender and was ready to go as far as...well doesn't matter now. That could be another good lesson for the future. Special thanks to one of the HH members for the friednly e-mail. I won't mention his/her name just because maybe he/she doesn't want to go public. If you are reading this message-THANK YOU SO MUCH. I just got so overwhelmed, that I totally forgot: 10 rockers cannot be wrong. And one more thing: even if you here something from the guy who won one of those "rarities" still be careful-they might be playing together. Denis.
  8. Hey, Stormspell, you were right-those Galaxy CDs were sold from vendor's web site, not from e-bay. Listen, do you know by any chance why nobody mentions famous Black Coffee(Chorniy Cofe) and August(Avgust) here.As far as I know August had two albums, but they never got released on CD, but Black Coffe did release their material on CDs and as far as I know lots of people know this band. Many thanks in advance.
  9. And No More Tears, either! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No more BLUE TEARS...
  10. Sorry, Wiplash for name calling. You made a good point. Won't happen again at least from my side-I promise.
