  1. Agreed with Delbert!!! Also, check other items: Tx Barryt released by Time Warp Records?? Sealed? should have used the word "re-released" instead of "released". Same label that re-released Monro-s/t?? Gimmie a break!!
  2. MONRO-s/t(silver-pressed, original, not re-issue and not re print) on CD was a tough mother@#$% to find. I believe its still as rare as it gets. I challange you to find this gem in a mint+condition with OBI... Also, Oslo-s/t Theatre-Sexy Lady Bronx Zoo-Lustfull Thinking( found it in DC used CD store back in 2003; I was staring at it in disbelief for a while:)) at a $4.99 parice tag on it. The worse part is that one of the movers who was helping me to relocate stepped on it and cracked it half. Up to this day I cannot get over it.
  3. what's it going to be next: real Lonnie in hospital and his twin brother in the garage???
  4. Well, Ripper, to be VERY honest with you, when I thought it was someone who had planned this scam for years. Someone who came to this coutry as a student visitor, overstayed his/he visa, etc....and before going back to his/her coutry again decided to take a little souvenier. No, Really. In the beginning it was quite ingenious, but eventually it turned out to be amateurish... Well, Ripper, to be VERY honest with you, when I thought it was someone who had planned this scam for years. 5. I just don't understand: who in his right mind will try to pull a scam like this without properly covering your ass???? I cannot believe this guy had a nerve to show up at work and perform his routine like nothing happened.Pardon my impudence, but you have to be plain stupid to think that you could get away with it!!!
  6. I just think its very unfair....at this point I am not referring to any band members, I am talking about every one of us-especially those who were friends with Lonnie. I haven't ordered Hurricane re-issues, since I have all the originals, but its not even about the money-its about the fact itself. There is one more thing I want to clear out: in the past on one of the threads I mentioned that I was going through a divorce, there is also a very good chance that I will be auctioning some rare stuff in future; but I am not the person Lonnie was referring to when he was pimping out some rare material saying that his friend was getting a divorce and was getting rid of the CDs. That wasn't me.
  7. Unless someone already edited your post, I have seen much worse than this said on here Hey, Mullethead, no, they have not edited my post. I was about to write something very similar to what Sam did, but then I changed my mind-just like you said, Mullethead-I am not perfect either. Once again, I want to make sure that everyone understands where I come from: I am not trying to ignite another conflict here; in fact-I was always trying to stay away from any Retrospect related arguments involving obsenitites, but this time it is different. This is something I would never expect from the owner/CEO of a record label and I am very upset about the fact that this comment is actually admittable on this board.
  8. Stormy - you have it all fucked up again - typical Russian. To Dan: Dan, I realize that after what I am to say now I will most likely not be able to use HH.com any longer, however... Stormy - you have it all fucked up again - typical Russian. To Sam: Sam, I have never ever had any issues with you; In fact-I did purchase quite a few CDs from you in the past; I would stay away from any Retrospect related arguments here on HH, but this time you are pushing it too hard. I am Russian, but this is irrelevant. How can you make such a generalizing statement? "Fucked it up again-typical Russian"...and how many Russians do you know? I have had a lot of respect for your label and you(even though we never met in person) as a business man, but after reading a statement from the CEO of a record label which is clearly biased-I think I will change my mind.
  9. I have only one question: "Well we got these from a warehouse in USA.Its an original factory pressed CD and it looks good to me. Best wishes/Per" If they found a shitload of Commandos in a warehouse, I would assume all of them are sealed...but on the e-bay auction $29.99 he says "..item is in excellent condition..".. Can anyone explain to me how can all of these CDs be in excellent condition and not sealed? And if they are in fact still sealed and new, why doesn't he use it as a selling tool?
  10. Just to clarify, are you guys talking about the otc_4_me (0) Minnesota seller, or the skivsthlm Swedish seller which has shitload of same CD on eBay stores for $29.99 buy now? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am talking about the one in Sweden. I thought he was the one who send his responce to one of TIM's inquiries..
  11. The seller signed his responses as PER. Now look at this: "The recordings for their next album ’Commandos’ started in the fall 1985.Their record-guru Per Alm had moved to Grappa Rec. in the meantime and Stage Dolls followed him there. The release showed that the band had improved significantly in terms of arranging and trying out new ideas. Great songs all through the album with a majestetic sound. For many fans this is the rockalbum of the 80’s.It peaked at no.5 in the Norwegian charts and set the band up as the most popular rockband in Norway in 1986. By now they started to get attention abroad. The album was released in the US by BigTime Records and the title track ’Commandos’ gained considerable airplay on college-radio." Looks like a legit to me.
  12. Got my order yesterday and I should say that the quality of the sound is great!!
  13. The sound samples can only give me a general idea of the quality. I ordered a couple of items from the website and I want to see for myself. Will let you all know. Later. Denis.
  14. A lot of things have been discussed here about Retrospect Records and the quality of CDs , however nothing has been mentioned about the quality of the sound. Did anyone purchase any of those? Any comments? I tried to contact a few Retrospect customers, but noone has responded so far. I might be skeptical about the re-issues of mega-rarities(Friction, Hearless, etc..), but I have no problems with re-releases of the material which had never been available on CD format. Any information about the quality of the sound would be helpful. Thank you all in advance. ASHEN.
  15. I very glad it finally happened!! I got two copies from MMayhem. Rock on!!!!! D.
