Halestorm: I Miss The Misery

Yeah, I like some pop music (although I grounded in the 80s, so most of the stuff I choose to listen to is almost 30 years old now) ... my daughters listen to the radio a lot, and the eldest has a whole bunch of stuff on her phone ... I can see why people like 1D, et al, but it does nothing for me - bland and forgetable in most cases.

Although I'm happy to join Cody on the Taylor Swift bandwagon ... for some reason, her songs just stick in my head ...

Aaaand, yes, Sound Storm, Arkona and Therion were brilliant ... so much so, that I bought the new Sound Storm CD there and then - getting it signed by the two singers, to boot - plus I ordered two Therion CDs ... the boy Eagle may have gone a bit nuts in Arkona's online shop ...

 

Arkona were awesome, probably the second best live band I saw this year (no one can touch Orphaned Land)!

Madder than a badger on stilts ... it'd be good to see them make it back to the UK at some point ...
