my 5 picks from this album :
Blow Your Mind
Dream Your Heart Out
Look Into Me
Winner Takes All
Youngblood
-
Some additions from the PRIDE OF LIONS catalogue today, got several gems from the first two but struggling with the last two. Shame Jim Peterik unable to hit the height of SURVIVOR anymore
Also just checked out BLOODGOOD - All Stand Together, picked 'Escape From The Fire' and the two ballads as the best of the bunch, great album !
-
I don't think there's an option but normally I check regularly by typing a certain Artist to check out songs to avoid double, so far I think no duplicate
'New Ballads' reached 500 songs milestone :)
Just checked out the highly rated MAGNUM - Princess Alice and The Broken Arrow, well I think it's too safe and probably strictly for the fans as I only think 'When We Were Younger' and 'Inside Your Head' worth the addition

Hi guys,
after checking out that the main site has listed a whopping 20.000 CDs, i thought must be great if we can pick at least one excellent song and build a playlist out of it :D
so i'm starting to add songs one by one, please check them out and drop by your suggested songs/album that I missed. Some albums are not available in my country though
Here's the link in case anyone interested to check and help :

just realized they got an album in 2018 and I have rated it around 78%, looks like this one's gonna be a whole lotta better
-
Damn fine songs, could be a surprise this year !
-
Will definitely go for a try as I'm a big fan of Steve but based on that song alone, looks like gonna be couple steps below Newman's latest
-
This new album is great in the 80% range although RS has that weird low replay value.
I mean, after one full spin, you will want to store this album in a shelf and maybe pull it out after 3-4 months for another spin
Anybody feels the same way ?
-
No point to do this rather than a desperate effort to cash in on the old hits

Very average for Vega's quality but not bad at all
-
Most of grunge periods, many 70s bandl and also many modern bands post 2000
I can live with one Greatest Hits album of bands like AC/DC, Aerosmith, Deep Purple, Journey, Styx, Van Halen, Boston
-
I think 'Rock Your Body' and 'We Are Gods' are the weakest here but it's hard to say bad things about the rest especially 'Come Clean', 'One By One', and 'Heaven ..', damn those are fine songs
Definitely deserved to be on top of the chart so far but like to hear how's Vega sounding later
-
This is somewhat decent overall but weirdly no replay value,
what I mean is I can live with couple of songs like 'Start Again' and 'Come To Me' and don't mind if the rest are playing at the background while I'm working, but also don't mind either if those are not to be played ever
-
a big fan definitely and Vito will stay a long time there as my avatar :D
any news about him so far ? last time I heard several years ago he's doin an interview with Eddie Trunk saying he's taking care of business and his dad, probably playing guitar just for fun at home, and also he injured his arms ?
Shame actually, would love if someday they're able to do just one reunion album in the veins of the early days but that's wishful thinking i guess
-
For me, not more than good, probably 7/10 type of album, is it safe to say that gone is the day that we loved Gotthard like we used to with those albums like Human Zoo, G, or Lipservice ?
-
Spinning this twice and loved it a lot, definitely top 5 contenders
and I loved the second half, not sure why people not digging it but maybe it needs just one more spin to appreciate more
I think 'Change The World', 'No Man's Land', and 'No Me Without You' might be the weakest part here but I still rate them around 8 to 8.5 and the rest are enjoyable
-
i think a 70-75% type of album.
By the end of year, it'll drop outside top 50 I guess
-
Too bad this one's gonna be bad :D
-
It's a fantastic album but I won't call it their best
Definitely Address The Nation or the debut will be at the top, a coin toss either one of them
after that - I think Freedom Rock is solid, maybe on par with this one, or maybe this one's slightly below
Anyway, it's definitely a contender for this year's winner and still deserved a 90%-ish rating, happy with the result and clearly the best of the last 3
-
No point for re-recording unless they got a new singer :D
-
Wishful thinking but hopefully they make at least one new album in the veins of 'Prisoners' or 'Out of This World', or at least go back to the first three albums
-
Even though I think this new album is still solid and belong in the top 10, Eclipse do need to venture into a new territory and won't hurt to be more experimental in the next album as they will soon become 'Axel Rudi Pell' if they don't do that.
-
Been spinning this one lately and getting more love from me. Very Beatles-que with a hint of early EZN, it's a fun record
Shame it's way too short, need couple more tracks
