Devastating news but to my ears the last couple of albums, whilst good lost the magic of the first few... So the band probably needed a shake up anyway?

I hope the band grab a new singer and release a new album under a different name... That's always my preference when a key member leaves. Sure the band name might lose momentum but the fans know what's going on (is there a general music public anymore that will be left in the cold?) and it also leave the door open for a reformation if it when the time is right.

Wow, not sure what's worse, the song or the clip. Both are like a parody.

Loved their debut album from 2018 but it didn't get much love round these parts.

Loving this new song. New album coming out on Frontiers on March 15th.

I'll check it out but have no expectations, haven't liked an album by them since These Days... although there is the odd cracker of a song.

I've gone off Robbie the past few albums but interested to hear your thoughts on this one.

Life has been pretty busy and it's hard to find time for this hobby but when I find myself jumping around sites and channels..kind of like scrolling through movies on a streaming channel without finding what I want.

So any good webpages or blog sites besides here?

Any good YouTube channels?

Anything else? Any good apps?

I stopped visiting melodicrock.com years ago, really miss aorheaven (just to peruse catalog and new releases and newsletter).

Some sites like sleazeroxx I find you only need to visit a few times a year.

In regards to YouTube sometimes I really enjoy shit on there busy most of the time it's a bit wordy and long. Snyder is ok I guess but I do find him mildly irritating. I like sea of tranquility but the music range covered might be a bit too broad for me personally.

I find both channels have too much content. Its amazing that they can pump it out. However, there's kots more misses than hits in terms of topics for me. I find I have to scroll their list of vids for something interesting or watch tidbits of a video to get a bit I want (and suffer through heaps of ads in the process).

Never been a huge fan of the band and last few albums have been pretty shit. Funnily and I don't know why but I'm kinda looking forward to this one.

Love White Lion, love Mike Tramp also but fuck me this sounds awful. I didn't think WL songs could sound worse than what he did on the Rembering WL album but there you go.

Agreed, I could listen to Freddie and Queen anytime. This is a gem, a bit different.

Freddie was taken from us way too soon.

I have no real opinion on the band's schtick. I do have an opinion on their earlier albums - they contained a lot of good songs. The last few... not so. Hope they can pull something out here but expectations aren't high

White Lion's Big Game was a massive letdown after Pride but over the years it's grown on me.

Cinderella's Heartbreak Station was always way too bluesy and too far removed from the debut but again the quality of the songs sunk in after about 15 years.

Spread Eagle's Open To The Public was a bit of a letdown compared to the debut but there's enough strong stuff on it once it gets under your skin to enjoy it.

Whitesnake's Slip of the Tongue was another real letdown post 1987. Vai didn't do the songs any favours but again there's a pretty good collection of songs once I got over my disappointment.

Anything by Harem Scarem after the debut. Still there best for me by a long shot but heaps of solid albums in the mix.

Shotgun Messiahs 3rd industrial album. On first listen wtf but songs are fkn awesome. Same goes with  Wasp's KFD.

I'm not a fan of the Frontiers projects normally but this album is very good. Some great songs and performances and better than anything Whitesnale has done since 1987

Singles I've heard just sound so generic, like a hundred other bands.

A real shame, I'm still buying CDs, just ordered 10 from Japan last week. Used AORHeaven all the time. Hope he can sell the business and get something for it but physical music market looks to be dead. Who's buying all the LP reissues and releases I'm seeing everywhere at crazy prices ?

If anyone needs help getting cds from Oz to the US I can help as I send stuff all the time. Just let me know and I'll double check shipping costs but always way cheaper sent without cases/flat in slightly bigger cardboard mailers.

Weren't we supposed to get the heavy stuff from Beast In Black. This sounds almost identical to what Battle Beast is doing now?!?!

I might not ever hear this one even though really liking the first. Refuse to pay premium price for a digital album. Oh well, sounds like I may not be missing much!

I switched off after Ron left. Psychschizophrenia is their latest I still own....got rid of everything more recent a long time ago
