    Dan

I've sold this on E Bay in the past but can't recall what it sold for. Here is the description I used when I sold it:

" mega rare 4 track indie came out of Sweden and is a very 80's melodic hard rock / metal sounding release, typical of the genre. Actually they sound quite close to German melodic bands like SINNER and V2. The guitar work is excellent and the singer is not bad at all. "

Can't even recall where I found it, but I still have one in my collection somewhere as well.......

    Delbert

if ya need, mr. del, a box of them drop me a message and i'll direct you to the appropriate direction...

edit: ahahaha, i'm wondering why they don'ty offer their previous cds anymore....ok they changed their sound but why not the name then? still they're great in what they're doing...

Just so you know, there is a thread about Danger elsewhere :) ( and their beloved cdr's)

man i don't thinke they're cdrs. they're silver pressed. have to find them in my vaults here to tell you the truth. the first one was silver pressed for sure, with pro printed booklet etc. the 2nd one was in cardboard sleeve but i'm sure it was also silver pressed(for the 2nd they had" an offer from a label but they rejected it and they released it privately)

"First Touch" is definately a cdr

bro, i don't have first touch. i'm telling about "keep out"(2004) and "in control"(2006). these are actually their first ones. they were more melodic/heavy metal there. later, from what i understood after getting a new vocalist they'll changed completely their sound. if i recall right, from what they were telling me, they used to have their first couple of cds into cd baby. when i got their first one from them, i loved it and i gave them the email of stephan from karthago records. he loved them and he made a proposal to them for their 2nd one(in control). they rejected his offer and they released it privately. now if you see their website they don't have them for sale neither they have samples of them. it's like they are trying to escape from their past???

  5. I don't know if there has been a post about VIRGIN STEELE before if so sorry if not cool Hey how many you HHers are into this highly under appeciated Heavy Metal band? These guys rock and should be in the tops of the Heavy Metal genre! Any comments, opinions of this band?

I would agree they are quite overlooked. Not only that, they have a really stellar band name. :) As well as one kick-ass album title, "Noble Savage." !!!

yeah, not only a great title but a great album also. and yeah, noble for the melodic/hard rock stuff i love and savage for the pure heavy/power stuff i love....sort of their music is also in this way...sadly nowadays noble wins the savage as far as their music goes....

  6. saviour machine is my alltime favorite 90's band. their democd and the first bunch of their cds are my absolute fave ones. i saw them in germany when they played with veni domine and soul cages and i still have nice memories to remember....needless to write that their revelations/rarities 4cd box is a monster! lots of unreleased and bootleg stuff....even moments where eric is completely out of key are included there....a must for a SM fan....their 20 minute opus "revelation" from their demo cd are some of the best 20 minutes ever recorded.... B)

  7. i have a couple of sealed copies for trade....

Do you really?? This is the first time I've heard of someone having more than one copy, but not only that, SEALED too! :D

ahahaha, you're right. it's not sealed. i should have written unplayed. i usually get my cds, even new ones, without jewel cases, so obviously one had to open them in order to send them to me..... so i have 3 copies, my personal one and 2 unplayed ones but definately not sealed.....

  8. For me, "power metal" goes back to the 80s and bands like Metal Church, Armored Saint, Vicious Rumors, Helstar, etc. -- although I didn't mind the Helloween-ish Euro "power metal" brigade that came along during the 90s (i.e. HammerFall, Iron Savior, Stratovarius, yadda yadda yadda) at first, the problem with that scene is that even in the case of the front runner bands, most of them had a great debut but then started spinning their wheels and keep making the same album over and over again. The second and third tier bands (Heavenly, Metalium, Wizard, etc.) are mainly just clones of the clones. I haven't come across a "new" power metal band that has really excited me in quite a while.

Never got into the symphonic power metal stuff much at all -- Rhapsody are just OK, and what little I've heard of the other bands in that scene are just too fruity, not enough "grit" for me if you know what I mean.

    Viking/Folk/Pirate metal? Nahh, too goofy.

bro, i think you're wrong in some of your comments here....hammerfall came in late 90's from a shitty label back then(their success didn't make them leaders for anything)... there were way too many underground power metal acts in germany/US before them. so they were not the leaders in anything(ahaha, iron savior's joke was another one trick of kai to make some more money out of the fans...what was the reason for them while he had gamma ray playing the same thing all the time).....and skylark's great debut cd came also the same time as rhapsody's first demo which was also good one...but skylark's one was better, but yet rhapsody took all the fame...ah well....

also you're wrong about wizard, wizard where wayyyyyy older than hammerfall and made some great stuff in the manowar tradition....their first demotape which i have original came back in 91....it's not their fault if they didn't have a label or enough money back then to record their first cd which came 4 years later....
