  3. I did notice too that you weren't involved in that either. In fact, I looked a couple of times on the back of this CD to make sure it was actually an official Eonian release.

To be totally honest, and nothing against the band's effort, but it's definitely noticeably the weakest artwork of an Eonian release so far. It goes alright - the band pics are cool. But the whole look is nowhere near as eye catching and impressive as usual.

:D Would have liked to have done the artwork for consistency but hands were tied on that one. The band wanted to do it... but still a nice release.

  4. Dear Diary - s/t ; really cool stuff. I do have demos from these guys in the archives somewhere but in hearing this I only remembered 'Mama said,' which is a killer track and still my fave here. But it is by no means the only one. This is a really cool collection of hard rock tunes with a good commercial edge. Solid sound quality too. Nothing to do with the music, but I did really miss the typical Eonian write-up on the band, which is absent here. :( Disappointing as I'd have loved to read their story.

The band actually did their own artwork on that one.

  5. I've owned so many, but one that I particularly thought was truly a nice 'rare' collector's piece was: Akela - "Nasty Reputation".....not many own this, and a really cool tidbit is that they were one of the bands that competed on the show "Star Search" all those years ago. Here's one of their performances.... Akela on Star Search

I believe they competed twice. Could be wrong but.... They had a different singer. Jay Hollander of Houston, TX band Fearless Leader.

Look up Jay Hollander on YouTube. He has Fearless Leader vids up from the Backstage Club.

  6. Not familiar with Link Company and not sure if it was a legit company to begin with but looking at the printing of the LP art compared to the CD art, the colours are very cheap and way off on the CD art.

Agree with Metal 4 Ever though, this CD will soon creep in on the Russian bootleg sites such as Azintex.

Russian Copyright Law does not protect anything that is Pre-1995. A BIG boon and loophole for Russian bootleggers. So any Pre-1995 Metal/Rock CDs coming out of Russian, I would not hold my breath about them being legit versions.
