  1. Sadly I couldn't be so kind. Like you, I think the vocalist had a great vibe going on and the band in general clearly sounded capable of a lot better than this. In the end it's just average swaggery type hard rock. But I don't question for a second why they never snared a record deal. They were evidently a very good band, but they had no flare for writing a catchy song that would appeal to the masses. These guys were severely missing any kind of commercial edge and this album could really use a huge dose of great hooks. Just way too many plodding slow tempo tunes without a point for me. Here was my quick summary:

    01. Pump It Up - good vibe and sound and style, just an average rocker - 6.50

    02. Love Is All Around - filler type track without a proper hook - 6.25

    03. Sock It To Me - average 80's style rocker - 6.50

    04. Get Down To It - another filler-type tune - 6.25

    05. Shot Of You - uptempo is nice, but still not an amazing song - 7.00

    06. Heat of the Passion - cool hard rocker - not perfect but there should be more like this - 7.50

    07. Save Your Lies - complete filler - 5.00

    08. Feel Thang - solid average filler… again - 6.00

    09. Find A Way - solid, but a pretty damn weak chorus - 6.25

    10. Taste Of Your Lovin' - super average again - 6.00

    11. Back In My Life - cool uptempo hard rocker - this is how they should sound all the time - 7.50

    12. Coming Home - really, really slow to start, but okay when the band joins in - 6.75

    13. My One and Only - bit of a plodder here too - 6.25

    14. Don't Play With My Head - good hard rock with a great swagger - 7.50

    15. You've Gotta Go - very poor hard rocker - 5.00

    16. I Love You - yeah, no thanks - blatant waste of space - 4.00

    TOTAL SCORE - 63%

You become more irrelevant by the second.

  2. .... you take away the gimmick from Steel Panther and you're still left with what is arguably the purest 80's style hard rock band on the current scene, imo. No one sounds like these guys in 2012 and I spun the 2 discs today just relishing every musical moment of what was going on. Huge riffs, great hooks, catchy choruses - killer vocalist and equally killer musicians. Like I've always said, the lyrics are just one other plus for me, but even without that, you still have a truly excellent hard rock band. Plus they're amazing live.

  3. I hate to piss on the parade but selling boots sucks, period! .....All this does is circulate phony's in the market thus killing the value of the originals because no one knows what they are getting.

This guy and place is garbage!

Agree with this....also anyone who does sell bootlegs, regardless of which company they are from, then they are part of the problem as a whole.

  4. All i would add to this thread is....KIVEL RECORDS has not at anytime supplied this company, Yet they are carrying our product. So we will look into it and verify if it was purchased from a proper third party that was directly suppplied by us. With that said, again i myself have not at anytime supplied this company with any Kivel Title. So i will not comment on if it is or not a boot at this time, until i know more.

The guy behind Azintex claims he buys the CDs used/new off places like Amazon,eBay, etc for "extremely" cheap, then sells them for $6.99. He claims everything he does is legal as he is just reselling. Very defensive guy and an all-around jackass. As said previously, "he says" he only sells them wholesale to shops...yet people here buy them.

The guy must be satisified with making a few pennies per CD at that sell rate. (If you believe his story....which I am sure changes by the minute.)

Only way to find out is to get a physical copy of what he is selling.

  5. Soooo... I see this bootleg site is now selling Murder Bay and RattleShake. Of course these are not authorised by the bands or Eonian, yet the guy claims he only sells the CDs to wholesale buyers... by 'Special Invitation Only'. So according to him, you guys can not buy them on your own.

Wonder if he could be lying?

To anyone who bought these two Eonian releases 'wholesale' through this company, "Thank You For Your Custom."
