Are Your Ready To Rock got me into the band and has remained my favorite from them. While their last 3 albums have all been very good, each release after Are You Ready has been a slight step down, for me. They've seemed to stick a little too close to the same formula and by the time I heard Monumentum it started to feel a little like been there done that. Based on these first two promo tracks I'm figuring this will be another slight step down.
- Are You Ready to Rock
- Bleed and Scream
- Armageddonize
- Monumentum
yep, agree with all you said... Monumentum felt like a step backwards from those previous 3.

Nah, Shiraz Lane are awesome.
Loved Carnival Days, my equal top CD from last year with Roxanne.
This new song is great as well.
And they replied to my comment on the Facebook thread when they posted this, which is always nice to know that band is hearing you. That was my album of the year!

Thanks for the info. Without knowing it was a compilation, I picked up that one from ebay, but that's cool. That will do for the early stuff. 'Still Standing' sounds like the one I'll be really interested in.
You bought a cd???

Here's an interesting one from 2004 that I was completely unaware of, which is surprising because Jimmy Barnes usually shamelessly promotes himself or projects he's involved with to death down here. The band features Bob Daisley and Steve Morse and includes six Ozzy covers! From what I can gather it was a bit of a fuck you to Ozzy by Bob and drummer Lee Kerslake who had legal issues with him. It's a great album and I have to say that I like Jimmy's versions. He does a great job.
Actually i remember this one being promoted all over tv!

Did not know about this! And i wish i still had not!
Sounds like it could be as bad as the new The Brave from a few years back..

Looks like a leftover album cover concept for Place Vendome

I just heard ... sounds like a return to their late 80s sound which isn’t a bad thing
-
I was expecting worse after reading the comments... not the greatest song ever but to me that sounded like a leaning towards Double Eclipse more than the "Euro" sound of their recent albums...

I quite like these guys, will give this a try
I loved the first album. The second was a complete drop off apart from a few songs in similar style to the debut. The sound clips above are not reassuring me that #3 is back on track.

Anyone else hoping for another Code Red album??? Love it...
-
Love MT... but thats a really ordinary song.

I reeeeeeeeeeeeally hope this is better than album #2. Their debut just blew me away. One of my favourite albums for yeeeears! Then the followup came and it utterly bored me.

Halestorm (think ive given on them now..)
Kenny Leckremo’s Spectra - just plain bad. I have missed this guys voice so much as well...

Sir, are you deaf? That was a pretty good album.
Agreed! Thought that was a nice one.. nothing spectacular but solid.

Isnt that the same album cover as the recent LAD?
-
Shame. A really good band that were as others said on the decline. Pity. I always looked forward to their albums.. except the covers album.
