Hi Everybody!
This is my first ever post on this message board, so I wanted to introduce myself...
Handle: Fat Freddy (any Freak Brothers comic book fans in the house?)
Real Name: Keith
Location: New Jersey, USA
Age: "Old enough to know better, too young to care"... but seriously, mid-'30s
Marital Status: hitched
Family: One son (3 years old), two cats, 1 golden retriever
Music tastes: Traditional/power metal, '80s hair metal, some thrash metal... faves include Raven, Loudness, Accept, old Metallica, Jag Panzer, Iced Earth, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, the list goes on...
Reason for signing up for Heavy Harmonies message board: I'm probably not heavy enough for the Brutal Metal board and I'm not Christian enough for the Heaven's Metal board (though I do dig a lot of '80s Christian rock/metal bands... Viva Barren Cross, Sacred Warrior, Deliverance, etc.)
# of CDs in my collection: Somewhere between 500-600 (haven't counted lately)
First album ever owned: AC/DC, LET THERE BE ROCK
Most recent album bought: Loudness DISILLUSION, Jag Panzer CHAIN OF COMMAND reissue, Hades RESISTING SUCCESS/IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED 2-CD reissue
Think that should give y'all a good idea of where I'm at... hope to speak with some metal heads soon!
Later
Fat Freddy
I'm glad to see I'm not the only Jag Panzer & Iced Earth fan around here.
Welcome to the board

Roxy Blue for me. That CD is killer. Too bad it was their only one.
I wish they would get back together for one more album

I agree with Geoff and with the people who like Mats Leven(too daze gone rocks), He is a great singer ( I saw him live with Yngvie and really like the show). Without him I went with JL Turner, Odissey is my fav Malmsteen album. Soto is a great singer as well, And I appreciate Edman too.
Facing the animal is the last great album from Malmsteen, I don't like what he done then.
Facing the Animal was the album that raised Malmsteens profile in America. It was the first album on a major label since Fire and Ice. It's a shame he hasn't been able to follow that album. He needs to bring Mats Leven back or writing better songs would help to.

I'll go with Brad

As much of a Kiss fan as I am. That was not the best album. I went with Dokken. Great album!
I'm a huge Kiss fan also but Crazy Nights is one of my least favorite Kiss albums. It was just a little to commercial and cheesy in some parts.
Crazy Nights kicked ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not saying it's a bad album. I just enjoyed the sounds of Creatures of the night, Lick it up, and Animalize more. I guess the way I feel about Crazy Nights is the same way you feel about White Lion's Mane Attraction
