  1. I'M lucky if I get to 1 or 2 shows a year, I try to make a trip out of it. Last summer when I saw Kix in Ocean City, Md. we stayed at the shore for a few days and made a vacation out of it. I only live 20 minutes from Philly, but like Freddy said I'm also just about retired from going to concerts these days. Too much of a hassle anymore, the traffic, prices, the assholes you have to deal with. I have seen hundreds of bands during the 1980's 90's and sure I'm not missing anything I havn't seen before.

  2. After seeing them live at the Empire Rock club a bunch of times, I thought they were going to be the next band to become huge, still one of my favorite live bands of all time. A great mix of hard rock ala kix with a kinda thrashy vibe. I was really disappointed when I heard the first cd, seems like it was all over the place and the live show didn't cross over to the cd. Still, a great band I would love to see a reunion show.

  3. Does anyone know if HDTV will be doing a replay of the show ? I didn't even realize I had the channel, until my son in law called me about a bunch of 80's bands having a concert in Maryland on channel 897. I never even watched any channel over 400. I only got to see the show from Queensryche to Ratt.

  5. As I was going thru my local flea market on Sat. I came across a box of about 20 or so cassettes. About half of them were live recordings from the Galaxy Nightclub of the bands Public Enemy, Ragdoll, even one of Cinderella from 1985 at the Galaxy. Also, a live show from Money/USA which some members later went on to form Network. The PE shows are from 86-87, Ragdoll shows are 88-89. Public Enemy changed their name to Ragdoll after the rap group PE started to become more popular. The rest of the tapes are studio demo's from PE, Ragdoll, and Money/USA.

  6. Does anyone remember these magazines from the 90's. Not sure when they started exactly but they have lots of cool bands in them. I just picked up issue 17 with bands like Hardline, 21 Guns, BB Steal and Giant. Would be interested in buying more of these if anyone wants to sell them. Just shoot me a PM.

Someone had a lot of them on EBAY a few weeks back, but I got outbid, looks like some interesting reading.

  7. can you remember you prom theme? my sophmore year I was take to the Jr/SR prom by a senior. don't remember the theme to that one. didn't go my Junior year. My Senior prom theme was Bon Jovi's NEVER SAY GOODBYE. 3 years later was dating a girl and went to her senior prom. the theme of that prom was Skid Row's I REMEMBER YOU.

Never went to or wanted to go to any high school proms. I guess I was in the burnout crowd, proms just were not cool, by the time I was a junior we were hitting bars in NJ on the weekends.

  8. I believe her drug problems started long before Bobby Brown. I remember reading a interview with Randall Cunningham a few years back who dated her for a brief time early in her career.

He said he stopped dating her, because of her lifestyle. But, I'm sure Bobby Brown didn't help her problem.

  9. I've been to this pawn shop 5 times already and it's never open.. I look in the window and they have hundreds of c.d.s i want to look through. I tried calling them, left messages. I even went to their other store and the guy says they're open. I'm about to throw a brick through the window. The only thing stopping me is the courthouse across the street.. :2up:

I pass a small strip mall on my way to work everyday, one day I noticed a empty store was filled up with all types of stuff. Cd's, records, promo posters all types of rock related things and other junk. After a few months, still filled but no signs of a store opening or anything. So, one day on my lunch I drove and asked the other store owners about the store and no one knew anything about it. At least two years went by with no actively, then about a month as I drove by, the place was empty. I wonder what treasures were in there?
