  1. Been listening to a lot of country / modern country lately including artsits such as Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley or Midland. Known Jon Pardi for a while as well and a few of his songs but hadn't given his most recent album (2016's California Sunrise) a full listen until yesterday but now I'm hooked. I've really become a sucker for this type of sound, a catchy blend of country, pop, rock

The saddest thing is that you have a maestro like Enzo Almanzi and you make him sound like a pussy cat.

Btw, still Ghost Of Graceland >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tunguska  (What a waste of a great title)

Yeah man, Enzo is a good dude. I'm also a bit disappointed as my only gripe is the WAY it sounds

Seeing as this is the band's second album with a ''thinner'' sound it had to be a conscious decision they (or someone) took which for me is hard to understand

I cannot understand why nobody ,thus far, didn't bother to upload Lil' Miss R'N'R/Last Kiss on youtube... These, initially,  were like 85-90 songs from me but, now,  hardly I can skip a week without playing them. And this is where the magic/aging bouquet of this lp is. 10 years earlier and I'd try to release it on vinyl.

Sporting a "The Defiants" tee right now! B)

I like Lil Miss RnR too, such a great vibe but I think most people see it as an average song. I like it cause it reminds me of Foreigner's ''Headknocker'', love the feel and especially the part where Paul sings ''You wore those stiletto heels and skintight jeans, man I couldn't get enough'' with the guitar bend in the background, so cool

And Last Kiss I think most people can agree is a fantastic song, so good from start to finish with the big whoa, whoa etc in the end

  4. 21-year-old Lewis Capaldi has released a 4-track EP and 3 stand-alone singles, some of it borders a tad too much on the sad and sappy but overall he's one of the more interesting pop artists today. Based on a few interviews and social media posts I've seen from him he's quite the chipper fellow which his music doesn't necessarily reflect. Here's some songs for you to check out

nice tunes but sounding very thin. What happened to the chunky Crossfire sound & Production ?

Glad I'm not the only one, I'm missing a bit of delay or echo for that bigger sound like Crossfire or also the moment when the guitar riff starts in Cry Wolf off the Serenade album. Now THAT'S what I wanna hear!

  6. This is oddly the last song on the record and they release it as the first single, only listened to the 30 second preview the other day and got a Toto vibe (mid 90s Tambu or their last album) in terms of sound

Still can't get into the debut, just two days ago a song (Stranger's Eyes) came up on a playlist and it starts off very promising with a breezy, beachy feel in the intro and the first verse also sounds nice. So I tell myself why didn't I love this 2 years ago when it was released, maybe I should revisit it........ then the pre-chorus kicks in and I'm like yeah, now I remember why :D I don't know, just seems ''off'' to me and the only track which was good front to back without any out of place sounding parts is ''Man Behind The Gun''
