It wouldn't allow me to just vote for the Dave album and skip the Hagar era entirely (which is what I have done for the last twenty years), so I will just say that my favorite Dave era album is FAIR WARNING and that the band have been dead to me ever since DLR left. Sorry
Me too.
Love VH. Love Hagar. Never the twain shall meet.
I was never a Hagar fan BEFORE he joined Van Halen so when the news came that he was the new VH guy, I simply walked away.
I will never forget goin' to the Van Halen Monsters of Rock concert at Giants Stadium in 1988 and noticing a van in the parking lot with the words "HAGAR'S NOT METAL!" written on the side in white reflector tape. Summed my feelings up perfectly.
My friends and I stayed until the Scorpions were finished and then left before VH came on... and a LOT of other people did the same thing!
You and your friends missed a great show...seen this show in Akron and it was awesome.I am a Van Halen fan with DLR first but the Monsters Of Rock Show that year with Hagar was great.I guess the people in Ohio live for the music first not the lead singer so EVERYBODY stayed and had a great time.....I remember it well.

Red Hot Chili Peppers-Stadium Arcadium
Never been a huge Chili Peppers fan,I always liked a few of there songs but this is fantastic...much more melodic than I have heard them in the past with some great guitar solo's and yes that great bass line is still there....really....really diggin' this.......
